β β β β β Had a really satisfying bowl of Mentaiko Waa-Gyu don at Mr Samurai today. Firstly, the beef was tasty and juicy and not tough and overcooked like most I have tried, the rice was seasoned well with packed full of flavour and topped with crispy garlic flakes and seaweed. The veges at the side were crunchy and did not disappoint either.
All in all, a delicious bowl of beef goodness which is really value for money at $14.90 per bowl. I will come back to try the salmon next!

β β β β β Quick fresh healthy meals at $10-$20 range. Friendly stuff and quick service. If you are in the mood for something hearty, try the Buta No Kakuni. For something healthy, try the fresh salmon and tuna salad bowls. The salmon aburi melts in your mouth. They have islandwide delivery too.

β β β β β Easily my favourite on deliveroo. For some, spending $10-15 on various rice bowls (don), might be uncomfortable, but I must say that every cent is worth it at Mr Samurai. Their salmon sashimi in the salmon sashimi don is procured fresh every day and it shows - the sashimi is higher quality than even those mid-tier japanese food chains. Their beef bowl is excellent as well and thoroughly enjoyed.
Currently with Singapore's movement restrictions (aka circuit breaker), they seem to deliver from Pasir Ris, Loyang area, (yay!) so fellow easties, -please do give them a try.
Extra points for their warm messages on their bowls, thanking us for a repeated order. Shows alot of sincerity in person, which is expressed in the way they plate their food as well - deliberate, and thoughtful.

Wanted to try their Waagyu Truffle foie gras don but they were sold out, so I opted for their other signature, the pork truffle foie gras don
The bowl itself was delicious and I did not expect the portion to be so generous. Definitely well deserving of their 5 stars ????

Ordered through food panda and was pleasantly surprised with the food. Each bowl has a portion of charred veggies with fried garlic in the rice. Unagi portion was generous and salmon was cooked perfectly, even added truffle for free. My family liked it so much I ordered again the second day, this time tried the beef and pork jowl. Food is consistent, I can tell they used high quality ingredients with meticulous preparation for each order. Thumbs up?

β β β β β Superb truffle wagyu don set that deserves another 5 star. The restaurant is cozy and stylish, with lovely stuff serving delicious food. The portion is very fulfilling as well. Definitely will come back again!

β β β β β I always enjoy my meal at Mr Samurai. Food is fresh and savory. Once seated, you will be welcomed by Joshua or his team. They are always friendly and attentive. The ambience of the restaurant at Circular Road is cozy and conducive too.

Deserve 7 stars appraisal indeed
Food presentation: 9/10
Taste : 9.5 /10
Overall : Meat torched to perfection. Good balance of side veg dish for meaty umami.
Slightly garlic aftertaste after meal but its ? acceptable.
Looking forward for other dishes.
A must try.
