One of the most authentic taiwan braised pork rice I've eaten. Definitely recommend you to try this!☺️

Mushy rice, watery lu rou and bland egg sum up the lu rou fan. A good lu rou fan will give a sticky feeling to ur lips and rice should not be mushy, bottom half of the rice was soaked with lu rou water, the lu rou tasted rough and tasteless so likely they diluted the lu rou with plenty of water to save money. Braised egg usually can’t go wrong but here, it’s just tasteless. The only saving grace was the 盐酥鸡 (fried chicken).

Oh this really cheered me up today! Came for late lunch and there was no customers... decided to try their 秘汁猪排饭. It was surprisingly very good! Large thick slice of pork chop with superb marinate. Yum! Pickled veg adds to the overall taste. And they gave a large portion of pearl rice (珍珠米) so that makes the entire meal great. Will be coming back to try other dishes! ------- Back again for other dishes. See photos below!

Tasty and generous portions. The Home special braised pork rice not too oily and come with an egg soup.

The oyster noodles were so bad… I said this from a local Taiwanese’s perspective. The whole flavor was just weird I think it might be bc of the additional sauce which perplex the flavor that it’s supposed to perform……. And it’s so ex too. Overpriced and not tasty at all. Won’t order again. Just FYI, the oysters tasted very fishy…

The flavour of braised pork is quite nice and not oily, while the bottom half rice is quite watery. The portion is quite nice for the value. Just slightly over $10 I get the braised pork rice comes with vege, egg and soup, and a side vege, intestines.

One of the most authentic braised pork rice in this area. Generous portion! Easy accessible by taking bus 139 or 145 from TPY central to this place.

One of the most authentic Taiwanese fare, at least for the items that I've tried. Apart from braised pork that is commonly seen here, they also served Minced pork(肉燥) rice which is actually more commonly available in southern Taiwan. Would have appreciate if they can have minced pork/cutlet rice combo rather then having to order both alacarte which will set you back for more than $10 and also too much meat for a meal.
