Zi char, hokkien mee, western, vegetarian and peng gang all lovely. The roast stall has good food but the prices are so suspicious. I was charged $3 for a portion of char siew all along and the staff (who also told me it was $3 previously) told me it was $4 and tried to shift the blame when I called him out on it. Leaves a bad impression!!!

Clean neighbourhood coffee shop with lots of nice food. Fish head bee hoon, fired bitter groud with salted egg, fried hokkien prawn Mee, sambal seafood, western food stall are all pretty good. Had eaten the fish head bee hoon, fried bitter groud with salted egg and hokkien prawn mee which I think is average but the serving is generous for $4.50.

Xin En Vegetarian 心恩素食 (formerly from Blk 710 Clementi West Street 2) has relocated to nearby Blk 713 and took over this Tuan Yuan Vegetarian. The famous and one of the best vegetarian stall in Clementi/West Coast, Xin En Vegetarian stall has relocated since February 2022 from Blk 710 (3 blocks away) to this coffee shop at Blk 713 Clementi West Street 2 (near to Clementi West Street Market). See photos.

New noodle stall that sell nice minced pork noodles and laksa. Worth to try. This newly renovated coffee shop has the popular fish head bee zi char and Fu Xin Hong Kong style shao la and noodle..tried their soya sauce chicken with noodle today. For $3.5 the portion is better than most stalls and the chicken is moist, the skin has the soya sauce flavor but not salty at all. The noodle is bit too chewy for my taste, prefer to be softer. The noodle also have generous serving of lard..

Nice fried hokkien prawn noodle. The noodle was pre-fried? and was ready when we ordered. He only needed to stir fry into it, egg, prawn, squid and the remaining ingredients, and finally the soup stock. The coffee shop was almost full and quite noisy. Looking around while eating scared me. The tables in front left, front right and beside us had emptied food plates and the people were seated (in 2s, and 3s, 4s over 2 joined tables), chit-chatting, loud enough to be heard. That's fine but they weren't wearing masks. We hurried off. And as we left, we looked at the extended section outside the coffee shop. Tables were  nicely spaced out and had two people each. There was similar talking and laughing, and people were unmasked. I was puzzled. Shouldn't we be appreciative that we could dine in despite rising Covid-19 situation? But no, it seemed like it's pre-Covid-19 normal of the past. This is my first and wondering if it will be my last visit.
