Have been having my haircut at Naoki for the past few years and it has always been a pleasant experience every time. Greatly appreciate the attention and respect that every Stylists have given to me. The most important reason why I will keep going back is that none of the stylist that had ever attended to me ever made me feel unwelcome or uncomfortable because of my dry skin condition. Had too many unpleasant experience with many different saloon that made me rather reluctant to go for haircut because the stylist made me feel like I had a disease and will ask me questions like as though I am consulting a doctor, rather than having a haircut. Thank you, Kenji San, Go San, Shinya San and Megumi San. May your saloon be of great success and have many many happy customers!!!

I have been seeing Oki here for a long time, and he is always consistent with my cut and colour. He is very pleasant and always runs on time which is very important to me. I also love their new Salon in 111 Somerset. It’s a very relaxing place that is also reasonably priced.

Our hairstylist, Mr Kenji Tsuburai, never fails to deliver and he is also very quick with what he is doing! Highly recommended for those looking for comfort and professional services!

Wonderful Japanese salon. It has a very clean and relaxed environment. It is located at 111 Somerset which is super convenient. My hair stylist, Go-san is patient and knowledgable. His hair colouring and hair cutting skills is superb. ありがとうございました. I highly recommend this hair salon if you want to experience Japanese hospitality in Singapore :-)

I went for a cut and premium straightening and was impressed by the service. I picked Shinya as his Instagram page has a lot of pictures/videos and information. He was very careful about protecting my hair during the straightening and gave me a nice cut to complement the look. There was no rush or upselling. I like the new hairdo as it takes years off me compared to my previous frizzy and dry hairstyle. Pricing is reasonable. Also really like the iPad with magazines, and the shampoo chair that reclines and lifts automatically.

Hands down BEST haircut in my life, by Shinya-san! I visited Naoki Hair Dressing for a haircut + rebonding + coloring + treatment session recently, and was totally impressed by his cutting skills. He is extremely meticulous and pays great attention to detail; just tell him how you wish for your hair to be cut, and leave it to him; he'll be sure to deliver splendid results. For locals, even if you speak only English, or maybe a smattering of Japanese such as yours truly, it's not a problem as Shinya-san is fluent enough in English and understands all the required hairdressing terms to comprehend and execute your requests as desired. I tend to be pretty unfortunate when it comes to getting my hair done. Even as a guy, every other salon and stylist that I've ever entrusted my hair to will somehow mess it up. You would think simple haircuts and trimming for males are easier for stylists to do compared to handling ladies' long hair for instance, but they somehow always end up cutting my hair too short when I request for them to leave it longer, and even show them pictures for reference. I used to patronize another Japanese salon for 2 years, and while the stylist was great at haircutting, he never seemed to understand what sort of hairstyle and length I wanted, even after multiple visits. The last straw was when shortly after the Circuit Breaker ended and salons reopened, he was a tad bit overzealous in haircutting, and cut my hair far too short that I had to wait more than half a year for it to grow back to my desired length. Henceforth, I decided to stop patronizing that salon. Honestly, I'm glad I took a leap of faith to visit Naoki and Shinya-san, because this man is a true professional and definitely knows what he's doing. We had a short discussion before the session and he completely understood my instructions, following them to the T. It's like he's a psychic who could read my mind and knew exactly what I wanted! From the haircut, to washing of the hair, to applying the rebonding/hair dye chemicals, and even blowing dry my hair, Shinya-san did it all personally. I was really impressed by his commitment to his client, as other salons typically leave the menial tasks to the salon assistants instead. I believe the other stylists at Naoki also do the same for their valued clients, so rest assured that you're in good hands regardless of the stylist you choose. It's the first time in my life that I've decided to dye my hair as well, and Shinya-san immediately recommended a color (Ash Brown) which is several shades lighter but very similar to my default hair color, which turned up superbly well and looked very natural. I've been getting nothing but compliments from colleagues after that, which speaks volumes of his skill and technique. In future, or as long as I'm still living in Singapore, I will only entrust my haircutting to Shinya-san, and only patronize Naoki for all my hair dressing needs. Went to Naoki salon today to have my hair cut and bigamied... Love the outcome so much. Thanks to Oki-san who did the nice hair cut and bigami treatment for me. My hair was quite badly damaged, hence was dry, frizzy and curly. Once Oki San saw my hair condition, he offered me some honest advices based on his experience for me to consider. Throughout the process, he never tried to hard sell the products to me which I truly appreciate. Also, I liked his hair washing skill which made me felt like falling asleep. :p I did not feel bored throughout the 2 hours as they are kind enough to provide e-magazine using iPads which I enjoyed. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience at Naoki as the hair cut and treatment are well done with reasonable price. Can't wait for my next visit again. It was my first visit to Naoki and I requested for Aya san after reading her profile on Naoki's website (Glad that they have profile section for their hairstylists). Aya san was very professional, pleasant and friendly. She spent time to look at my hair and find out how I wanted the highlight and colour to be. She shared her recommendations with me when I asked. I really like the colour she have done. I have coloured my hair many times in the past by other hairstylists in other salons but this time was the most satisfied one. When I made appointment on the website, it stated total required time 3hrs and my hair was done in 3 hrs which was very nice. The salon was cozy, tidy and clean with nice music in the background and I almost fell asleep. The seats for both doing and washing hair were very comfortable too. I will definitely visit again.
