I saw Dr. Hazel Oon and it was a great experience. She did a thorough examination and explained things to me in way that was very clear and easy to understand. Afterward, she provided some helpful prescriptions for me. I’m really grateful to have seen her for the appointment.

Wanted to reschedule my appointment but HealthHub was down, so I called the number instead. Everything went smoothly, and rescheduled appointment was confirmed with me through the phone. I then proceeded down to the clinic on the day, only to be told by the staff my appointment wasn’t rescheduled. Overall, staff was still friendly, but service with regards to rescheduling is the worst. Completely wasted my time travelling down here.

Made 2 calls on behalf of my Dad who is dealing with other health issues and had a terrible experience. Just needed to sort out 2 things over the phone: 1. Reschedule an appointment 2. Request more medication in the interim Had 2 unpleasant experiences with an appointment hotline staff (2 June 2022) and pharmacy hotline (6 June 2022) staff. The interaction with the pharmacy staff was outright horrible. If the NSC aspires to be a respected, esteemed centre, perhaps staff who seem to take pride in being rude should search for greener pastures elsewhere. I do believe the majority are wonderful staff and completely understand bad days. I hope my bad experience was a product of random coincidences, rather than events of consistency. That said, the lady who attended to my call today with regards to appointment matters who absolutely wonderful. The treatment and care given to my Dad the past few years has been exceptional as well and we appreciate that very much. It is a pity that first impressions, or seconds for that matter, matter immensely.

All the doctors and nurses I encountered in my visits to NSC were very professional, friendly and courteous. D Dr Ang kept on smiling when answering my questions which would have vex most other doctors. The visits were very pleasant and I have great confidence in the ability of the doctors.

First visit was good, the doctor was very attentive to me and answered all my questions with enthusiasm, and was very patient (Clinic F) but collecting the medicine was a very long wait. Second visit, not so good, the guy who registered me at the counter was probably a newbie and looked stressed, kept sighing and face palming for some reason. I just wanted to get registered for my follow up consultation. The doctor who saw me for this visit was super impatient (Clinic G). Just told me to continue using my original medication, and could tell she was rushing me. Anyway, I was out of the room in less than 3 minutes.

Good experience. Registration was fast. Had to wait for doctor about 40 minutes but lounge is comfortable and have wifi. Doctor was great. Attentive and kind. Payment was extremely quick. Definitely coming back for check-up next year.

Difficult to get reservations as calls timed out at least 10-times on different days before answered. HealthHub is useless too as you cannot book or change appointments online with visibility like airline seats. The doctor who saw me was not friendly and would not answer anything beyond what I was referred to. Note that you only received Singaporean subsidy if your referral is from a polyclinic not the usual GP. NSC started its operations in 1988 after taking over the treatment of skin diseases from Middle Road Hospital, it is located as part of the TTS campus at Novena, and currently treats 1,000 patients daily.

Came here to see a skin condition. Requires appointment to see the doc. Waited 10 min to see doc, 10 min to do a test, then 15 min to see doc. But had to wait 20 min to fix the next appt and then comes the killer. Waited an hour to get medication and make payment. To be honest there are just too many patients. All counters are already utilised so I am not sure what can be done to improve this. So I think what I can do is to help improve the ratings.
