★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the past, Coming to NUH even when you are ill was a good experience. I am here now and there is a new re laying out according to nurse they added a few more clinics into the space. The level 3
Heart clinic is now like a market. So congested with people. Long queues, loud voices and plenty plenty people . Whoever who is re organising NUH heart clinic is not doing a good job. My recent visit to a polyclinic was even better. I use to think the orderliness and quietness of NUH was a reflection of how good our Govt is. I was so impressed even my mom’s subsidise care was of such high quality. Now I have different thoughts. I am not sure if creating this level 3 for all subsidised patients and level one for private care is the reason for this chaos but I do hope they will give a larger space to such a large group of people. First time I’m seeing almost every seat taken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 and a half years after CABG x 3 performed at NUH, a CT Scan in Australia identified partial sternal non union ie sternum did not heal properly after surgery. Chronic upper chest pain since surgery with feedback in subsequent cardio check ups over following 18 months, did not lead to effective diagnosis - a simple CT scan would have detected it. Facing further surgery now to correct it.
