Oasia Hotel Downtown

We had a really enjoyable stay here. The location is excellent, in a really lovely party of the city and well connected to all central areas by the Tanjong Pagar station located near it. The “lobby” area about half way up the skyscraper is beautiful with breathtaking views and the rooftop pools are stunning. The room was very good, if in need of some TLC in a couple of places. The staff were fine. The price we paid we felt was fair relative to other hotels’ prices.

Fantastic hotel visually. Friendly and helpful staff that make you feel welcome all the time. Our room was small but served the purpose as we spent most of our time being a tourist and at one of the 3 pools the Hotel has. We didnt dine at the restaurants as the is plenty on offer around the hotel. My favourite area to eat in was 100am. Would recommend to anyone going to Singapore, whether as a family or on business

The hotel is pretty funky with its exterior covered in plants. The rooms here are pretty small (superior double in my case). There is also very limited options for breakfast. The service is generally good but there are better options for the money.

I have stayed here many times since this hotel opened, Club level. Sadly it has gone downhill. There is now no 24hr room service but their on screen and in-room content says it is. The phone will just ring-out trying to call in room dining. The client service on the premium priced club level is poor. No welcome to the dining area by the staff, confusing format (do I order at table or self serve?) l, dirty seating (my chosen dining seat was filled with crumbs and old nuts) and a breakfast made with very cheap produce. They’ve decided not to serve or allow any drinks or food by the pool anymore whilst you relax. You will be told off by the staff if you bring any drink (even a coke can) to drink by the pool. No longer a beautiful hotel focused on the customer. Go elsewhere until they fix it.

Checked in with the assistance of Ms Letitia Tan, Front Office Manager, she was very professional in explaining all the important details. She was extremely friendly and even remembered us when we checked out! However, the pool was kind of disappointing. Its was full of dried leaves and the "daybeds" were black and had algae, we have no idea where to place our towel and shirts :(

To avoid the holiday season, we booked a stay after the new year. Hotel has lots of greenery. It's very comfortable with the breezy weather. Room is small but cosy and we got a room with a nice view. Amenities provided smell really nice too. Staff along the room corridor were friendly and greeted us even though they were doing their things. Food at happy hour can be improved. The pool at the rooftop has a lot of dried leaves. But it is difficult to blame the staff as the weather is too windy. Service can be better. The gentlemen seated at level 12 did not notice that we approached the desk or walked past the desk to go to the gym. They were seated and looking at their computer or phone but on the 21st floor, even though the desk was away, the lady managed to greet us. Another issue was that we ordered food delivery for supper and it was delivered and placed at level 1. Nobody called us that they have received on our behalf. We went down and were surprised that there is no one at level 1. We did see a gentleman sitting at the breakfast area but we weren't sure if he was a hotel or restaurant staff. We advise to book the club room as its on a higher floor with better room and overall experience is better too.

Enjoyed the good service of the Club Lounge staff, and the infinity pool exclusive to Club guests, an amenity which is not so common in other hotels. Liked the design of the Club Floor, makes one feel very relaxed. However, swimming pool cleanliness can be improved: stuff like serviettes were seen on the pool floor. Club Room is quite clean, includes a bathtub. However, the hotel is built very close to another residential building, there is no privacy at all if you are assigned rooms facing that building- need to draw the hotel room curtains most of the time.

I enjoyed my stay here (a couple of years ago)-it was in a good location, very central with the metro just in front of the door. Rooms nice with a great view, beautiful pool deck. Only negative: you can look into the bathroom/toilet from the bed, since there is a window
