Was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Would definitely eat again when I revisit my friend who lives nearby.

Extremely generous portion- this is the Salmon Mentaiko Don. The rice ? is short grain and very fluffy which mixed very well with the onsen egg ?. Their salmon is perfectly grilled glazed with slightly charred mayonnaise and Mentaiko. It's one of the best salmon Mentaiko Don! The hawkers are very friendly too ? Definitely another gem ? in the neighborhood. They also accept CDC vouchers and other e-payment options.

Took away the Korean Glazed Pork Belly Don ($6.90) and Beef Steak Don with Truffle Ponzu ($10.90) and they were indeed really good. I was afraid that the rice will usually outlast the proteins (that's the case for most HC or kopitiam Don stalls) but nope, everything matched to the last grain of rice. The Pork Belly came in a generous portions, was succulent and not hard, and grilled just enough. The onsen egg is also really creamy, so it goes well with the chargrilled texture of the pork belly. And the kimchi seemed to be either a very good rendition of a recipe, or a superior brand is used because it is seasoned well. Not the super sour pale kind you get at food courts "Japanese" stalls. The Beef Steak was also delicious, even though it had to endure our journey back ~10mins with the lid on. Not chewy, it was seared just right and pieces were succulent and juicy, with enough meat all around. Honestly, it was one of the best lunches I have had in ages, and beats some of the higher priced restaurants in CBD tbqh.

A hidden gem in Yishun. We tried Curry Mealball Don, Softshell crab, Beef steak Don and Yaki cheese ball. All the dishes are very yummy and of high standard. The sauce of softshell crab is very special. Worth the price. Will definitely come back again. Thanks

Fast service, good food. Salmon don is my favourite. Everything else on the menu is worth trying too. Haven’t tried the salad bowl before.

Found this hidden gem that sells fusion donburi purely by luck, thanks to Google Map recommendations. Had the Korean Glazed Pork Belly Don for takeout and it hit the right note. The pork belly was done just right and had a good balance of lean meat and fat (it ain't pork belly without the fats!) and was well-seasoned, the onsen tamago was perfectly gooey, the kimchi was great. Will visit again to try out other dons.

2nd time patronising this place and the quality of the food is superb for the price. Tried Beef Wagyu Steak Don, Salmon Don, Tendon, Japanese Curry Meatball Don, Pork Belly Don, and Chicken Katsu Don and they were all super delicious. Definitely worth every penny and calories. I foresee myself being a regular here already ?

A friend recommended this undiscovered gem in Yishun. Highly recommend - beef steak don and pork belly don. The menu is well priced for its value & quality. Will definitely be back again. Awesome !
