Tasty bkt. If the pork rib was more tender, it will be even better.

Visited the place on 20 Mar 2022 as we see there were tables available. Ordered a set meal for 4 and was really disappointed with the food. The pig trotters only have bones and some skin. Soup was tasty but has few ingredients. Veg was oily and portion is small. We were told half way through the serving that the sesame chicken is not available. We request to replace with frog legs which is shown on the menu to be similar price as the sesame chicken. Waiter told us the sauce is not available and need to replace with another sauce. The frog legs turned out to be disappointing too. At the end we were charged extra $6 for the replacement dish even though it is clearly of the same value. And we were not the one who requested to change in the first place. What saved the day was the company of friends. If we were there just for the food, it would have been a disastrous night.

Everything really just so-so. Service is bad and not attentive, the seating and tables are uncomfortable. The soup also went cold fast, unlike other BKT places, maybe itโ€™s the type of pot used.

Just behind the changi village hawker center facing the park, this little resto/hawker prides themselved on their bak kut teh but in addition also serves seafood and tze char. Ordered the salted fish fried rice, steamed baby squid, chilli tua tow and claypot pigs liver. The fried rice has good wok hey and had ample amounts of salted fish though it wasnt overly salty. The highlight was the claypot liver. The liver wasnt over cooked and was extremely aromatic with lots of spring onions garnishing it to bring out the flavour of the sesame oil. Chili tua tow was average and could do with abit more heat. The steamed baby squid broth was tasty and the squid perfectly cooked so it wasnt rubbery. Will come back to try other dishes next time. Ambience: 3/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5

All of us loved the food, including my 2 young boys. My only small little concern was when it started pouring and we had to hop tables. But the staff were wonderful and helped us out and the friendly lady over there even advised us on what we can choose for the kiddos. Good service, a bit pricey but worth it for the steamed fish and fried prawn balls. Would have given 5 stars if not for the slightly crampy situation..

Loved the food here, one of my favourite place to eat reasonably priced steamed fish. Their fried rice was superb too ?

Had lunch here today, my husband and I shared the Bak Kut Teh meal for 2 pax priced at $24.80. A little pricey and the Bak Kut Teh came in a small bowl, hardly enough for 2 of us. The set came with a bowl of veg and omelette which had prawn pieces in it. The food tasted good but a bit too oily for my liking.
