Rude staff in Clementi mall outlet.

Very bad service. I was there at 7.30PM was told by the very rude staff saying that the kitchen had already closed.

Quality Japanese food at affordable prices. Always enjoy my food and time here. They refresh their menu every 6 months or a year. However, I wished some of the dishes I loved from the old menu were retained during the refresh.

The restaurant gave a cozy feel, probably because of the layout which was different from the typical Japanese restaurants you find in Singapore. I'd highly recommend a reservation be made if you intend to dine there during dinner and also check if cold soba is available before heading down as it is hand-made daily (as stated on the menu but not sure why it was unavailable on the day i visited) Sumi Yaki Tori Jyu: grilled chicken was dry (could be because i'd asked for the sauce to be separated but shouldn't be that dry when eaten on it's own) Saba: wasn't fresh Beef steak: became rubbery after it was left for 10 minutes Tamago: surprised that such a basic dish could be unevenly sliced Server: 5/5 for the service provided by our male server, Hui Pin The restaurant offered black sesame as a condiment and also freeflow of rice and soup (when you place an order for their sets).
