β β β β β Back here again for their seafood, but tried their crab this time round instead of their famous lobster, which is always good.
Tried teo chew crab for the first time and it was scrumptious! crab roe was delicious and crab meat was fresh and even comes with a hint of sweetness in it! I think itβs a must try!
Next was black pepper crab, >1kg, we were so impressed by the size of it! I mean look at the picture! I guess size really matters ?, crab was mega fresh and taste was great! the crab meat that we had was tender and succulent!
Last was steven chicken, as good as ever, prolly the nicest chicken I have had. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, as tasty as I first tried it a few years back!
Service is good, place is clean and comfortable and food is great! Will definitely be back with family for more!

β β β β β Love their lobster porridge, very ι²η tasty soup! We try their hairy crabs since they are in season, not bad. Though it'll be better if the roe is not so cooked so that it's creamier. Maybe good to serve in dim sum container coz it can keep the warmth better. ?

β β β β β Personally like the dishes. Missed out picture of the steam fish (suggest add alittle $ for the better fish) and big pot porridge. 4pax set meal is good for 5 at reasonable price. Will be back again.

β β β β β Mothers day, had set dinner. Lobster porridge and chicken are good. The rest was disappointing. Veg was old, fish did not taste fresh (see pic for reason), yam paste too sweet and lack texture. Waitress cleared the table by pouring all leftovers and tissue papers into the fish plate right in front of us (looks like a pool of rubbish) before serving dessert.
Worst of all, mind you, this is a restaurant! They serve using plastics and disposals wares and utensils!
Sigh...used to like Orchid seafood, but not any longer. Will never return.

β β β β β Our family went to Orchid Live for our Fatherβs Day celebration and we had such a wonderful time that weβre already planning on coming here for our next CNY reunion dinner! We had the $628++ set menu for 8-10 pax and it was definitely value for money.
Their signature lobster porridge lives up to its stellar reputation with a flavourful and rich broth. The portion was also super generous and we could barely finish the entire pot! Their soon hock was also amazingly fresh and well-cooked.
Service staff was also very helpful, polite and detail-oriented. They were also ready to change your plates after certain dishes, and you donβt have to worry about much while dining there. Simply sit back and enjoy the experience.
Highly recommended and we canβt wait to be back!

β β β β β Nice and value for the $$$ dinner! First time visiting since they moved into NS Home Team Yishun. They have a number of set menu combination. The server staff was very well informed and very kind to help us understand the menu. She even give option to replace some of the dish if we find any not suitable.
We order the popular lobster porridge but not the current promo of Australian.
Highly recommended! ?

β β β β β Their seafood were fresh, but prices rather steep. Their signature lobster porridge was comforting but lacking of rich umami of lobster flavour. If you like crab roe, you can try out their salt baked crab with yellow roe. Overall I enjoyed the most was their steamed Soon Hock and (must try) Steven chicken. The restaurant was spacious and cozy, great for family dining gathering, and kids friendly too.
