Tried the beef hor fun at $7. The gravy was okay, not tasty, just plain soya sauce favor. The slices of beef were over cook, tough to consume. For the price charged at, it isnt worth it. Advised to try other stalls instead.

Competent zi char located in a bright and airy coffeeshop in a relatively new part of Punggol. They serve charcoal fish head steamboat and have a fresh seafood section, which the staff will remind/upsell you. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable.

Update April 2021 Added 1 new photo. The Yang Zhou Fried rice slightly dry. Review for December 2020: 1 Word Only = Good...This is a Better Food stall (Tze Char) in Punggol West area. Well today i first time order a take away food: Fried Rice with Silver Fish. To my surprise, even after about 25 minutes, the food taste is still very delicious and the silver fish was tasty too ! Actually the Normal egg fried is very good too. Pricing wise is a little bit of higher, but it is worth it.

If you loved Charcoal steamboat and knows that it just taste different, you are right! Now, if you stay in the Northeast Punggol, fret not - there is a good place for fish steamboat you can try. The soup has good flavor and is refillable, you just need to ask for it if they are too busy. We also loved the stir fried beef noodle which has lot of wok hei. Can't stop once you start.

Very good food, especially 海鲜大宝 (both chilli and black pepper) with the promo price now - need to order 1 hr in advance. Other dishes like deep fried squid and stir fried spinach in garlic are also competent.

The food is to salty and oily. No flavour. Bought salted egg sotong, but no sotong taste, only salty. The cabbage looks worse than those sold at econ mix rice. The spring onion beef also salty. Not to mention that it’s very expensive. 5 small dish cost $62. So in summary, my Pepsi taste the best during and after dinner to wash the taste down my throat. Super regret I never come And read the Google review before I buy.
