★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely braised soy sauce that sets it apart from the regular Joe. Fragrance and rich in flavours. $16 for half a chick. Chicken texture is not over cooked and without raw redness. Pairs well with the al dente noodles. Would recommend their dumplings too. Very decent ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super yummy!!! I am usually not one to eat soy chicken noodles but my colleague said that I needed to try this and I am thoroughly impressed!! I opted for chicken breast and I did not expect it to be SO TENDER?! Seriously drool-worthy chicken with noodles drenched in the best soy sauce I’ve ever tasted (if you’re thinking that it’s too salty… it’s not at all! So fragrant and doesn’t leave that thirsty icky feeling). I paired my noodles with a bowl of dumpling soup… those dumplings were simply delicious ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good springy noodles; sauce has good flavor, and soya chicken portion size is good. $5 for good food and a 70 year tradition is worth it to me. Ordered extra dumpling soup and eggs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been patronising this shop for the pass 15 years. Decided to have my soya sauce chicken fix. I have no problem ordering drums previously. Understand the banned from M’sia export of live chicken causing issues around the island. As usual, I ordered drum but the aunty says they can’t serve that. So I’ve opted for lower half of the chicken & noodles. When they served, I didn’t check closely as I don’t expect them to swap the parts for me. Eating through halfway, than I realise that there’re breast meat! Felt cheated and didn’t want to argue since I’m halfway through (take it a pinched of salt). $17 for the serving, feeling being robbed. I can understand the shortage of chicken, but, untruthful to consumer? No return for me as there’s isn’t lacked of good soya sauce chicken on this island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still one of the best soy sauce chicken I'd so far. The chicken meat was cooked to perfection, very tender, especially the chicken breast meat.
The noodles I had was good too, springy and not too Al dente.
And I just like the over old skool feel, served by our senior folks, not into interior decor etc.
And we should really support them and keep a piece of coffee shop culture alive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think the best soya sauce noodles. Noodles are springy and the dumpling soup is very nice. drumstick which is very soft compared to chicken breast as expected. Feels like home cooked food in a good way. Not too salty and over flavoured. Condiments are generous.
