Saltiest pork chop fried rice and gyoza I ever ate. Both items are full of MSG. Horrible food

We had 2 Ramen sets (Ramen, side dish, dessert, drink). The ramen was served very quick but they taste like instant ramen. Side dish (White fish and gyoza) was OK. Very limited drinks selection on the menu (set or not). Staff were unfriendly and whatever the customers asked, the response was "hold on" or "wait for a while" without even any eye contact. For such service I would rather eat at a food court. This type of restaurant spoil will spoil your mood for the day. Overall really not worth it. Cost us about $50.

Ramen soup has no depth at all. The cha Shu taste is very flat and the spiciness is just biting. The noodles are thin and do not harmonize with the soup. Overall tastes like ramen from an instant noodle pack. May be a bit better. Most characteristic point about service is that they do anything to avoid any exchange of words with you. The only good thing is that we filled our stomachs somehow.

Nice noodles and very delicious pudding served here. Good place to have lunch when shopping in this Mall.

Ambience- dated never re- renovate since 2016 Restaurant looks tired just like how we are going through this pandemic. Staff too quiet face appearance stoic like they are enduring pain & hardship :( what ! no welcoming Irasshaimase pronunciation mind you this is Osaka Ohsho authentic restaurant chains famous gyoza direct from Japan, I know what was like in Takaida, Higashiosaka, Osaka. The chahan rice is alright doesn’t taste like local hawker rice, that’s great ! Gyoza taste like frozen brand ? Ajinomoto chicken pack ?. As for the egg drop soup clear n tasty. Anyway I came for the food :) Update : I didn’t come for Ajisen Ramen this Brand appeared to facing challenges for years from many emerging Ramens Brands….now at its fatigue stage. Do not end up like Sakae please ..

Eating at Osaka Ohsho can be quite a hit and miss thing in Singapore, unlike it’s Japanese outlets. Over here, they are merged with Ajisen Ramenβ€” yes, the undying, mediocre ramen chain which really displays more confidence than anything else in claiming that they serve Japanese ramenβ€” so be sure to order the correct items! Gyoza is good. Crispy on one side, soft and juicy on the other, making it a very delightful experience. Fried rice is average, bland without much flavor and took a while to arrive. The staff members were friendly and polite, but they were so overworked during lunchtime. We had to wait a long while for tea refills, which they eventually did with apologetic smiles. Finally, the fact that Tenshin Han (omelette rice with gravy) is gone from the menu just makes this Ohsho undeserving of a five star rating. Having spent years in Japan, I’ve never seen an Ohsho without Tenshin Han. It’s pretty much sacrilege to remove such a classic item from the menu, on top of adding in things like salted egg chicken, and forms the reason for three stars.
