Ajisen Ramen (Bukit Panjang Plaza) - Bukit Panjang Plaza

Ordered spicy chashu ramen. Broth was thin and quite tasteless. Chashu was whole meat and doesnt even has a layer of fat. Overall is quite bad for a ramen.

Terrible service by one of their staff, call "Bak Luan" or something. I went to have my dinner with my daughter. Upon reaching, we were greeted rudely by this said staff. After we have checking in and checked by her, she did not say anything and except us to know what she want us to do. After which, she just walk off and went to the seat that she had expected us to follow her. When she noticed we not following her, she gave us a kind of look as if we made her wait for nothing like that. When we just finished our food (pls take note that it's only like 5 mins), she just came and took away our plates and bowls. All these without asking if we still want to remaining food. When paying for the "best service" ever, I say I want to pay by "Fave Pay". She pointed the QR code and I scanned. But it indicated as "Invalid QR code"! The next thing that come out from her mouth is "confirmed ur phone is spoilt. My qr code is definitely working"! All these were said without even making any effort to check if the QR code is really error or not. I seriously dun know what happened that cos this staff to behave and gave such a service. If she is unhappy to be working, den take off or even quit the job. Dun vent ur unhappiness at the customer.

Had their lunch special - Curry ramen with fried cuttlefish that came with a drink. I’ve never ever ordered a curry ramen before but I’m so Glad I did (just for fun) that day. Delish!! ? Quiet outlet at bpp with minimal crowd during during lunchtime. Service is great and fast, self ordering is fuss free too. You would love it if you’re up for some quiet alone time with a hot meal.

Ordered for take away and the lady there took so long to understand the order eventhough it was only 1 item (ramen). When we opened the order, there was no broth . Worst part was when we tried to call the number advertised is wrong. When we finally got the right number and called she hung up on us. Finally got to the manager but no good solution was being offered. Very disappointing.

Food normal. Service was abnormally bad. The senior lady seriously need to get some basic training on F&B hospitality. Not keen to greet, just "show me vaccination!". Then walk to the table and expected the guests to follow her. "You sit here, you sit there ah!" With those words she walked away. Came back couple of minutes later with menus. No instructions of how to order. Took us some time to realise there was a tablet in the pocket below the table. We also noticed some customers left waiting at the entrance with the "??!!" look on their faces while she walked back to clean and ready the tables. And we are paying 10% on our bill for service charge? With such level of service, maybe we can convert to a self-collect system and skip the service charges!

Had their special promo lunch set. Affordable and as flavourful. Tried their tom yam and curry soup based and was good.

It may not be the most authentic or popular Ramen place, but I've always enjoyed my ramen here. One of my favourite here is the spicy char shu ramen. I like the generous addition of bean sprouts, the minced meat that kinda dissolves in the soup and changes the taste and texture, the onsen egg, and of course the delicious, slightly spicy and piping hot soup! Today I ordered an extra portion of soup as I was in the mood for it. The set meal includes a side (I toggle between the fish and tofu), and green tea (hot or cold). It's a great place to go for a simple, fuss-free meal; we usually don't need to queue (at least, not for long), and we don't have to wait very long for our food either.
