★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the Hakka noodles set that comes with one bowl of noodles, one bowl of Yong Tau Foo soup and Har Cheong Gai on the side. Noodles were well-coated in Chef Pang’s tasty, unique chilli-soy sauce-pork lard mixture. YTF was normal. HCG was mediocre.
Heard good raving reviews of Chef Pang’s Hakka dishes back when his stall was in Little India. Altogether, nothing to fault about yet nothing to scream about either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good noodles and the Hakka Ytf is what I remember real Hakka ytf to taste like. The wait wasn’t too bad given the stall was only staffed by one person. The person manning the stall was pleasant. A much better experience here than the one I had at Sprout Hub.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding noodles -- firm and chewy, tasting of the egg in the handmade noodles. And the sambal -- wow -- so much umami in the dollops of red goodness in the bowl.
The pieces of YTF ingredients are also hand made and were tasty as well. This is a hyped food stall that lives up to the owner's sky-high reputation. Love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good noodles.
The noodles were cooked to a well doneness (i.e. QQ). It was also very well seasoned. The minced meat was also very tasty.
The soup had a light taste and had a big chunk of radish in it. The yong tau foo pieces were also good — mostly were made from fish, instead of meat.
The fried chicken wing is also good. The seasoning on the batter is excellent. The meat inside it remains moist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard about Chef Pang's venture and decided to check it out.
This is the 2nd stall, and it is located in the Bgain food court.
We ordered the traditional hakka noodle and the hakka red wine chicken noodle.
The red wine chicken noodle uses 面线 that is thinner. It smelled really good when we got it, but somehow the sauce lacks the kick.
But the traditional hakka noodle with the yong tau foo - wow wow wow. The noodle is cooked to perfection (they used a machine to time the cooking) so it is qq, and it is mixed in a sauce that with lots of lard bits that tastes out of this world. I had to order a bowl for myself because it is that good. The stuffed bittergourd also stood out because the flavour was very good balance of the meat stuffing and the bitter gourd. The rest of the yong tau foo is good - just not as outstanding.
I will definitely be heading to the branch at the sprout very often since I live nearer there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shared the red wine chicken noodles and signature hakka noodles with crispy chicken wings set with my mum. She instantly said it was delicious. Have had this a few times before, always consistent. Very hearty bowls of noodles and soup, chicken wings fried to order and super crispy.
Love the springiness of the noodles. The red wine broth was so addictive! Chilli in the hakka noodles was the bomb.
Love chef pang’s food!
