Pasta Express (The Venue Shoppes) - 2 Tai Thong Cres

From the name of the shop, one can easily guess what they sell here. They have 3 pasta bases (cream, tomato or aglio olio) to choose from and many different ingredients! Couldn’t decide between the wide selections they have and I decide to go for the aglio olio with bacon, duck and spinach. I thought it was really delicious and the spiciness was on point. A welcome addition to this neighbourhood.

Overall experience 5 stars. Pricing: This is between Hawker and full fledged restaurant price. You can look to spend around $10-15 Singapore dollars. Place: This is located at level one at the mall, there are very limited indoor seats and its on high chair. There are 4 to 5 set of tables at outdoor which can sits up to 4 pax per set of tables. Food: You may mix and match the ingredients which is good, I'll recommend the smoke duck and prawn to go with the pasta. For drinks they only have lemon tea which I find it decent enough for the price point. I love the food, but probably will consider take away instead as the ambiance there might not be good and it may be hot for lunch or a stuffy evening. Parking: You may park in the mall or the road side parking beside the mall. I will return again for this stop, I spent around $20 for 2 pax which I find it very reasonable for the quality of food. It may not be the point that its super fantastic and ill dream of it, but it will be decent enough to visit every 1 to 2 months for me.

Walked past this new pasta place in my neighbourhood and decided to try. Ordered their carbonara with smoked duck and it was so so good. Price was really reasonable with decent sized portions. Will definitely come back for more.

Super excited to see this pasta place open in my neighbourhood! I used to love their pasta when they were in NUS! Even when I visited my friends in NTU and SMU, they are also there! Food is customised to your individual preference! Definitely have to try!

Discover this gem around my neighbourhood. Love that I can customise the sauce & choose from a wide array of ingredients! I had the bolognese while my husband had smoked duck aglio olio, both were ?? for the price. Will be returning

recommend their bolognese or aglio olio (they pan fry the garlic pieces til charred ? super flavorful!) for the portion, they are really generous at the price point ? would be nice to see them come out with more standard combo creations and options! Had these pasta for lunch today. Ordered the smoked duck pasta and prawn aglio olio. Overall the taste is good. Portion is good. The pasta is slightly too Al dente to my liking but it’s all good. Will order again to try other menu.

My first try at pasta express. Reasonable pricing and portions. Taste really good. Will be back to try for more. Good lunch option when wfh. Some seats available if you like to dine in. Please consider loyalty discounts for residents? Keep up the good food!
