2 stars just for the good equipment. Bad experience, unsatisfied with their double standard customer service. When I try on the new pair of spectacle upon collection, I consult the salesperson and she just give me a very superficial "ok" without further checking or adjustment and pack it up for me. When I reach home and try it on again, it keeps sliding down causing me have to keep pushing it up which is very annoying. They did not aware I have a low nose bridge which is "Asian fit". The arms of the spectacle was too narrow for asian fit face and it cause the spectacle cannot sit on my nose bridge. From my previous experience from other optical shops, the salesperson will actually ensure the spectacle will snugly fit on my face, however the experience I had here was different compare to the person whom I went together, he received good customer service as they make sure his pair of progressive spectacle wear correctly not too tight and the lenses did not touch his eyelash etc. I guess their customer service standard are based on how much you spend there for example, progressive spectacle in thousands get better customer service; normal prescription spectacle that cost few hundreds just serve, pack and go thats it. At least this was the impression that they gave me.

This is really a one of a kind optometry practice like I've never seen before. You've got to experience it yourself to believe. Senior Mr Koh with decades of experience - sorted out my badly made specs done elsewhere with a few magical tweaks after identifying the cause of my problem. Prior to this I had been getting nausea giddiness and headaches for the past 2 weeks - and the other optician elsewhere couldn't find anything wrong with it. My previous optician elsewhere simply told me to get used to it - i never did. The fact that i can sit down now to type this long review after seeing Pearl Optical this evening speaks for itself. After he was done with my initial assessment, Senior Koh then sent me to his son Dr Koh in another room. Dr Koh and his capable staff gave me a detailed eye checkup to find out if I had any other eye problems and sorted them out for me - glaucoma cataract retinal diseases macula cornea - they've got the machines to check all of that. And they actually put me through all of that. Even the refraction check that Dr Koh gave me is different from my previous opticians. They found the reason why I got giddy with my specs - and I was convinced. They've got all the proper stuff that you'd typically find in an eye clinic. To give an example, Dr Koh looked at my eyes with a slit lamp, took a foto of my eyes and told me that I have high cholesterol - and he's right! I never told him! Now when was the last time any other optician told you that? They have a whole set up dedicated to solving their patients problems. It's not just a new pair of specs that you get. But they really give you a comprehensive eye checkup. Final words: The bill - very reasonable. The service - impeccable. The quality - better than anywhere else Who'd really expect to find a world class optometry practice from a dad and pup shop located in the heart of chinatown? This team has certainly exceeded all my expectations. These folks genuinely want to help solve your problems. The range and depth of experience of the eye professionals that they've got in there is great. I know I won't ever be going to any other optician from now on.

Very bad service, this is most longest waiting collection spectacle in life, bought at 20 April then inform me collect at 20 May, waiting a month to collection, request payment with credit card but refused reason due to credit card machine no service. I had compared with others shop is no discount

For 1st visit to the shop. They treat you like king and show you all the special hi end eye test. Do up the spectacle there and spend a total of $1420. When collection day, this is where all the fox tail come out. Very excited to see my collection invoice. Pass my wife her spectacle, my wife say very loose and focus on left eye a bit blurry and uncomfortable. The Boss say is like that one, wear for a while and will be OK. My wife did so many progressive lens never had such issue. Only this shop have, well done. She kept on say very loose until the Boss finally decided to help bend and adjust her spectacle. But the blurry issue still there. He insist us to wear 1st and will be OK. This is so unprofessional from the professional Boss! What next is even powerful, he seems like rushing me to make my left over payment. Which I don't know why. I told him pay by MASTER. Next he sak me for my pin number. Hello Boss! I said pay by MASTER not NETS!!!! After payment done, all he'll break loose. He no longer interested in you and jump to next customer very fast. Lastly, I check on my wife's spectacle box. She bought the Burberry frame, but received a "Saint Lauren" box. It is not even YSL at all. I told the assistant about it as the Boss busy with new customer. The assistant end up asking the Boss. The Boss still can say is Saint Lauren ah. I tell him straight, my wife frame is Burberry and show him the frame. He diam diam and told the assistant say go get the correct box. Small thing like box also cannot do a good job how you convince people in your lens services? Worse thing is from the Boss itself leh!!!! This is my 1st and my last trip to this shop. Here, my wife's blurry lens still not settle yet. I will go there tomorrow to collect my lens. If all issue not corrected tomorrow, you better take care of your reputation. This will greatly affect your sales. This 2022, no more 1980. Social media can kill a shop in an instant.

This optical shop is different from the regular ones. Their consultation includes: Refraction Screening of diabetic retinopathy Screening of glaucoma Screening of cataract Screening of age-related macula degeneration It was so detailed, about 4 machine was being used.? Was super glad to hear that my eyes are healthy! Consultation is FOC as long as you purchase eyeglasses from them. They do have a wide range of frames to choose from, so fret not, you'll surely find yours here. ? Prices are super reasonable and I got my glasses in 20 minutes. ?

I have been to few opticians and this shop is the best. They are one of a very few shops which has specialized eye check equipment for eye checks that most do not provide. Thanks to them, my early eye condition problem was detected by their opticians. All the staff including the bosses are friendly, professional and patience. If you have issues with your existing spectacles or plan to make a new one, why not try them out?

A long history optical shop in Chinatown ! Very professional and gadgets to test your eyes and eye sights. Great advices from the Optometrist too. Managed to make a pair of glasses with transition lens at a reasonable price. Waiting to collect in a few days time.
