โ โ โ โ โ Definitely not worth the reviews that it deserves. Prata was soaking in oil, chicken was oily as hell. Lombok was tasteless, accompanying sauce was oily. Chicken curry was watered down, potato was not even cooked through. Laksa was so so. Only saving grace was the peanut sauce according to my wife. Chicken satay was sweet and barely warm. All in all I was extremely disappointed.

โ โ โ โ โ Best Penang restaurant / catering with no.1 customer service excellence!
I pre-ordered 20-pax food to be delivered at 530pm for a 645pm surprise 30th wedding anniversary party. But the delivery were still not in sight by 630pm. After a few panic calls, we realized that I WAS THE ONE WHO MADE THE MISTAKE had keyed in the wrong date โ> 3 May, instead of 2 May.
Knowing that it was a surprise party, the restaurant rushed to prepare the food and had them delivered to me by 8pm! Just in time, after the vow renewal !
Thank you very much!! You take pride in your food quality and customer service (even though itโs the customerโ s fault)! Looking for Penang food? Catering? One should consider non other than Penang Place

โ โ โ โ โ Quite a popular place for lunch, with a wide choice of selections. You can have a main dish for $13, with dessert of chendol or pulut hitam included. There is also an executive 4 course lunch, or even a buffet.
We ordered the Penang char kway teow and mee goreng. The ckt had wok hei, and some fresh cockles. The mee goreng was disappointing, being overly sweet and with some odd bits of potato type thing. The har cheong chicken was fresh, but the har cheong taste was weak.
The chendol was very good , and refreshing. We also ordered bandung, which was rich and strong, while the homemade barley was truly bland, and almost tasteless.

โ โ โ โ โ Been eating here since they were in Jurong, fusion to here in suntec.
Food dun really changed much. The same old familiar taste. Cannot even name the dishes. Automatic already as it is engraved in the mind. Do note the spread is generous but dun expected a very very big spread.
Go try. Comfort food. Good food.

โ โ โ โ โ Missing Penang and here is a place for a taste of cuisines from Penang. Choose between buffet or ala carte. Buffet is a great option to sample the different varieties and then zoom down to the selected dishes that one loves
I like the Penang Fried Kway Teow here. The Siakup Assam Pedas (seabass cooked in spicy sauce) tastes great too. The Beef Rendang is awesome. There is satay served here freshly grilled upon order. There is a station that cooks Penang Laksa etc upon order. Desserts are wonderful and fresh, and the kuehs go well with a dash of kaya (coconut-milk-based jam).
Cosy environment. Great place for Penang cuisine when you desire one at Suntec City area.
Ala carte meal will be good choice for people who have decided what's your favourite cuisine to enjoy, and good for a speedy lunch / dinner meal.
Admittedly, I miss the times of its earlier days of operation when the buffet deals were below S$30 per adult. I may not order buffet in the future. I love the desserts yet I aim to cut down on sugar-containing food. Maybe I shall order ala carte.
Thanks for the tastes of Penang cuisine nevertheless.

โ โ โ โ โ A slightly more lavish place than a hawker centre or food court which serves up Penang food - price point was rather fair between $10-15 for main dishes. They do have a buffet seating as well which costs ~$32++/pax.
Laksa was flavourful and decent in portion, but would find it rather steep for the overall value.
Mee goreng similarly had enough flavours within the dishes, but it certainly lacked meat/vegetables to go with after chunking down the fish cakes and beancurd.
The signature scrambled eggs was nothing to shout at, pretty much something we can whip up at home - the only dish without much flavours.
That said, itโs a decent place in general for a quick fix in the area - since prices are in the region for any restaurants here. Nothing fantastic but no major complaints too.
