POTATO CORNER - 10 Tampines Central 1 B1

I was there on a slow Sunday evening recently and 2 staffs were chatting inside, one cooking the fries and another one of them seated on the freezer near her - this one looked at me after I stared long enough and gestured with her head without a word (to take my order) not even bothered to come to the counter and ask with her mouth. It was only after she couldn’t hear what I was saying then she came nearer to take order. Makes me feel like I’m disrupting their chitchat session???

Website says that it opens at 10am, reached there at 1030am and the staff was still setting up. Took his own sweet time and had to wait for more than 15 minutes for my order to be done. Please update the opening hours if your staff reaches late frequently...

Food is amazing but the staff are extremely slow, keep taking their time. This is the second time I've ordered from the tampines outlet, amazing fries but the service frustrates me so much.

Bought Super Tera Chicken Pop today, 29 June at 4:37pm at Tampines 1 Outlet. Was busy juggling between 2 stores to see if my queue number was called, when I collected from another store, at 4:42pm, the guy in black shirt pointed his middle finger at me while his mask was down and he was busy munching on the fries. After that, he whispered something in the girl's ear and the girl looked at me. Ridiculous. Can't believe what kind of people you guys are hiring. You have a cctv, check that cctv. Absolutely disgusting.

Understand that staff needs to break fast but suggest to put time that he/ she will return on the notice, so that we can decide whether to plan for alternative meals? I decided to wait today (Wed) and returned after 30mins but stall was still unmanned.

TLDR: I would recommend everyone to refrain from buying from this branch and go to other branches instead. There is a reason for the low review scores. ----- On 2 May 2022 16:15, I ordered a Super Tera that allowed choosing of four flavors, two for fries and two for chicken. After I made the first two choices (Chili BBQ and Creamy Truffle), the staff did not allowed me to choose additional flavors and mentioned that I could only choose two flavors. This was confusing to me as it was not similar to what was written on the menu. I tried asking about it but she insisted that it was only two flavors. After receiving the receipt which clearly showed I could choose four flavors, I asked the other staff member who was around for clarifications. However she started to get annoyed and replied in an annoying tone that I could only choose two flavors for Super Tera. After I went home and look it up, this was simply not true. Even on foodpanda you were allowed to choose four flavors. I was looking forward to trying the different flavors that was recommended by many of my friends. However, because of this experience, I would refrain from purchasing from this same store in future.

I was there on 28 May at 10.40 am when the shop just opened. There's no queue and I was standing in front of the counter for almost 10 min to place my order. Yet the lady inside simply ignore me and continue with her washing, opening up carton boxes and keeping the stuffs into the cabinet. In the end, I walk off ..... I will never never come back again no matter how nice the food is.

Not bad, can satisfy your cravings for good French fries similar to McDonald’s seaweed fries. Portion was a little disappointing despite we ordered their MEGA choice $5.70 but is still really little… more like a large McDonald’s fries +20% more only.
