★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found them on google to be top 3 hair salon in Yishun. So booked an appointment and went. First experience was good. Haircut service is great, showed the stylist the style i liked on pinterest, but she suggest that due to the shape of my head is not ideal, so she took inspiration from my preferred style. Good to have a list of salons on hand to go to, this could be one. Colouring wise, is ok. Price is slightly higher maybe due to CNY.

ALL THE POWERCUT STAFFs are very professional and very kind and helpful. Especially Ms Lian Law who help to colour, cut and help carry my mother. THIS IS WHAT SERVICE EXCELLENCE is. On par with Singapore Public Service. Service with empathy. Thank You Powercut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The male stylists who's bald is very professional in his work. For guys, please ask for him to cut your hair. He's the best. Trust me. 18$ cut . Totally worth it. Recommended..he will never rush and fix your hair in small details. Worth the wait for his service. 5* from me. If the boss is reading this, please give him pay raise.

Salon is well upkeep, hair styling tools are all cover-up, very hygienic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We wanted our 2 year-old son to have a haircut so we waited to be seated. Granted, we didn’t make an appointment but we were waiting for around 15 minutes without anyone attending to us. This hairstylist with blue hair was eventually free and obviously reluctant to attend to our child. After some hesitation, he said, no appointment then need to wait. Why tell us this after more 15 minutes of waiting? I know it’s not easy to cut a child’s hair given they could be poorly cooperative but this is unprofessional. Pure bad service and very arrogant. Not coming here ever and will tell others not to bother too. We ended up going to another salon in the same building at which the hairstylist was very patient and professional.
