★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Headed to Prive at Jewel For my boyfriend's 25th birthday. I made a booking online and briefly mentioned that it was my bf's birthday. Service was great, food was served very quickly (within 10mins). We ordered a pasta, fish & chips and chicken wings (omg love the cheesy sauce that comes with it!). Service was awesome, they'll come by and check if everything is ok very often ~
They surprised us with a birthday cake for my boyfriend's birthday along with a birthday card. That was so sweet!!
Will definitely come back again ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staffs didn’t initiate to welcome customer in the queueing line, until we walked over then one of the staff served us. They have like 50% vegetarian option. Spring rolls are good, served while it was hot. Impossible burger taste good. Vegetarian katsu curry just so so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: Just spoke to the waitress and realized the food is vegan hence no cream in the mushroom soup.
Great ambience, I mean all restaurants on the 5th level have great ambience but the food if I'm being bluntly honest is not that great. Apologies on the photos, took it after we dug in.
Ordered a kids carbonara pasta for my nephew and it's so salty + too much pepper.
Mushroom soup - too watery n tasteless.
Fried parmesan chicken wings - is just fried chicken with a side saucer of parmesan topped over some cream.
Laksa - I would have given one star to my review but their laksa is pretty decent.
Fish and chips - normal.
Bottled beer - 5 stars.
Would I come back? Yes, for the beer and ambience and finger food but not mains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing experience at Privé 2 days ago. All our food was taste less and my couscous was bad (compact as if cooked days ago and weird taste). When asked the cook, he said it’s normal (!). The berry crumble was weird too. No crumble on top, just a few cereals and a massive (and weird taste) ice cream scoop on top. Very disappointing.
The staff was apologetic and nice but will think twice about coming back to this branch at Jewel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love how their menu has many vegetarian and vegan friendly options! It gives us a chance to be more environmentally friendly by eating less meat. They have adults and kids menu. However, we were quite disappointed by how extremely salty their kids pasta was. The staff were helpful and apologetic about it and have relayed the message back to the manager, which we appreciate.
Tip: Come early to get a seat by the waterfall side for an incredible dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always love coming here to try the specials of the day! There's always a vegan option available and must of them have been really delicious!
I've had the vegan samurai beef bowl, which was really tasty and had lots of fresh vegetables and pickles to balance the savory "beef"
The banana blossom fish and chips wasn't as great. When I first cut into it, I was amazed at how much it looked like fish. But the taste itself really isn't similar to fish at all, I personally didn't think it tasted very good.
The tindle katsu curry was really really good, you get a nice thick vegan chicken cutlet, you won't miss animal flesh at all!
The impossible sliders are really cute and tiny, you get 3 of them. They were incredibly juicy and delicious!
Most recently I had their festive impossible meatloaf, which was pretty good as well. The portion was bigger than I was expecting, the meatloaf was ok, but I didn't love it. The roasted zucchini that came with it was really good, which I didn't expect because I've never liked zucchini. Plus I've had it before last January, they just recycled the same dish and slapped "festive" on it despite it not really being very festive??
They also have a good range of vegan cakes. I've tried their carrot cake and wow, it was really amazing! I have no idea how they made the cream cheese frosting vegan, because it really tasted like cream cheese. The cake was also topped with a caramelized walnut going, which added a nice nutty crunch to the cake
Only downside of this place is the price, definitely not somewhere to dinner at regularly without hurting your wallet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience at Jewel is hip and trendy. It is a good place to stand and stare. I ordered the flat white with oat milk. It did not disappoint. My wife ordered the carrot cake. It was served cold but the taste improved after it was warmed up. Prive at Jewel is a place for random moments and good coffee. The service of the staff is average but I suspect that they are short of staffs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, indoors with an outdoor feel. And a clear view of the waterfall. I love it that there are so many vegetarian/vegan options. Spoilt for choice. The all day power breakfast is very good, lots of different items in it. I like the Japanese katsu curry, as well as the sticky date pudding. And the service is quick.
