After hearing positive reviews from friends and relatives about Dr. James, I decided to consult him for myself. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my own personal experience with him. Dr. James was extremely compassionate and kind as well as assuring, answering all my questions and putting me at ease for my surgery. He is thorough and patient in his explanations. With his expertise, I was able to have a better understanding of my surgery options. Also, for a private practice, I found his cost to be very reasonable. After surgery, my follow-ups were very prompt and I was extremely pleased with everything overall. I would highly recommend Dr. James Tan.

I used to consult Dr James when i dislocated my knee cap several years back and his professionalism left a deep impression on me. Recently I had a fall while I was in my last trimester and suffered from severe backache. I wanted to look for Dr James again for expert advice on pain relief as treatment are limited for pregnant women. I was told that he was no longer working at his previous workplace. Thankfully, after asking around, I managed to find him at Quatum Orthpaedics. Appointment was fast and hassle free via whatsapp. He was, as usual, very patient and did not brush off my symptoms as typical prenancy symptoms. He assessed me and gave me pain relief which are pregnancy-safe so that i will be comfortable for the rest of my term. He even taught me exercises that I can do to help alleviate the pain. He also thought of other treatment options in case I experience pain. His team of nurses are also very friendly and approachable. Overall, I am glad that I managed to follow up with him and would definitely recommend Dr James and team.

Well, I google and found Dr James Tan of Quantum Orthopaedics when I was searching for a specialist for my right shoulder rotator cuff injuries. As soon as I saw Dr Tan, my trust in him makes me decided that there is no necessity to sought a 2nd opinion as his explanation was very clear and that he has been through many of such operations. His price are reasonable therefore I decided straight away on my first visit to his clinic. Operations done perfectly quick and well. I am already in my 70s and I believe our trust in a doctor is very important and I wasn't afraid of this operation at all. After 2 weeks of my ops, I am getting stronger and recover pretty fast. I believe with the rehab as recommended by Dr Tan makes a speedy recovery. I also like to comment his assistant Hana for going the extra mile to my place after my discharge from hospital to guide me how to use their special armsling. I should commend they really take care of their patients very well. Kudos to the team. ???

The clinic staff were very polite and prompt in arranging an appointment for me with Dr James. Dr James was very patient in explaining my condition and treatment plan to me. I’m now getting better (sports related injury) and would highly recommend Dr James and his team! ??

I approached Dr James through another doctor’s referral when I was having immense knee pain from a fall I took climbing. Dr James did an initial assessment and sent me for an MRI. I was initially devastated to find that I had torn two ligaments in my leg - and to return to sport, I would have to undergo surgery. Despite my initial apprehension, Dr James and his team were very patient and understanding in explaining the procedures involved, and reassured me that I would likely make a full recovery - or perhaps even emerge stronger post-injury. Under his advice, I went for ACL reconstruction surgery and meniscus repair. I was well taken care of throughout all stages of my surgery, and I couldn’t have been happier to have done so under Dr James. Dr James and his team were also incredible in assisting me post-surgery. Not only did they walk me through my projected recovery, explaining how long it’d take, etc., they made sure that I would be comfortable when recovering at home after surgery. Despite feeling pretty hopeless/frustrated initially, knowing that I had to take a long break from sport, Dr James and his team’s clear and detailed guidance on my injury gave me much to be optimistic about! Now, almost 4 months after my surgery, I’m well on the road to recovery and have almost gotten back to where I was before my injury. I’m amazed at my progress since the injury, and only have Dr James and his team to thank for taking care of me so well in these few months! I would highly recommend Dr James to anyone - you’ll be in good hands! He’s very experienced in this field, and he and his team will have your best interests in mind. I couldn’t have been more grateful to have them to guide me through my injury and help me become stronger than before.

Wonderful visit/experience with Quantum Orthopaedics! If I could give Dr James and the staffs a 10 stars I would. I have suffered from an oblique fracture at my pinky finger. Dr James gives me confidence in his diagnosis and treatment. I appreciate his patience to explain my X-rays and clear all my doubts. Also, not forget to mention about the staffs. They are friendly, helpful and polite. My follow-ups are properly arranged by them. Very impressed with the overall experience! Highly recommended.
