Real Thai - Changi City Point

Not sure what to make of this "real Thai" place. The staff are nice enough and they seem to be speaking Thai in the kitchen. However the food seems a little less than that. The green curry is watery and the basil chicken is neither spicy or basil enough. The kids enjoyed the egg omelette and pop corn chicken though. Shall go back to try the Tom Yum Fried Rice and Pad Thai next time.

Absolutely awful. Should be called Real(y Horrible) Thai. The prawn tomyum I ordered was a bland, watery concoction with (old and soft) prawns and a lot of mushrooms to make up for the lack in substance. You should be ashamed for even calling it Thai food. Never visiting again.

Newly-opened in CCP so decided to give it a try after friend who likes Thai food recommended it. I was quite excited when I saw that they have a separate vegetarian (also vegan-friendly) menu. However, I don't eat tofu and everything on their menu except the basil mushroom rice has tofu. So okay I decided to try out the basil mushroom rice and was very, very underwhelmed. I couldn't believe that I paid almost 10 bucks for that (refer to the pic). I don't think Thai basil mushroom is supposed to be this kind of mushroom. But that aside, the mushroom tasted spicy, but no basil taste at all. In fact the mushroom just tasted like pure mushroom after biting into it, while usually places that do mushrooms well will have the taste of the sauce instead when biting into it. I don't think I will be back unless they start offering other vegan options. Actually not sure why they can't put green/red curry with vegetables on the vegetarian menu. Those are usually my go-to options in Thai restaurants. I bought the set meal so there were spring rolls which taste pretty standard. The lemongrass drink was kinda diluted but acceptable for me. Giving it 3 stars for benefit of doubt as my friend likes their Tom yum rice and red curry dishes. Pity. Don't think this is the place for good vegan Thai food for someone like me (who also enjoy Thai food). Also I don't understand why I was given a disposable plastic cup (with a lid somemore) when I was eating in. The chilli was also served on a disposable plastic saucer. It's not environmentally-friendly.

First time visit this place. We ordered the set dinner for duo. The portion of food was enough for us and delicious. Long time didn't take Thail food. This reminded me so much of those days travelling in Thailand eating and shopping. Will visit again with more friends. ?

Great customer service! Pad thai was good but I don't recommend the tom yum soup..

The tomyum is not over powering. There’s a balance of sourness and spiciness. This soup blends well with the bee hoon. Kailan with oyster sauce is a bit sweet. Mango salad’s spiciness is just nice. The omelette has a little crispiness that it texture. Price is affordable. Space is just small and should be good for quick lunch.

First time trying this place (I dont usually eat Thai food), but quite impressed with the food. It was tasty and worth the money. There was even a 50% off for the Thai platter. Limited seating due to covid19 measures but it should be easy to get a seat there during lunchtime. Good service too ??

The pad thai taste is authentic and the portion was reasonable. The thai milk tea is just nice and not too sweet. Sadly no desserts were available when I wanted to order like the red ruby or mango sticky rice.
