★ ★ ★ ★ ★ just a humble small shop selling local stir-fry and economy rice but this one deserves support. It is the few surviving shops lots which supports the lower income/old retirees in the ho swee hill area, by keeping the meals at very reasonable prices - managed by a mid 40s couple. If you choose to visit, bear in mind it's not a fancy place but the pretty old neighborhood kopitiam you can find old folks chit chatting. 3/5 for a good learning experience and a humbling meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non-descript economical rice (cai fan/cai png) stall helmed by friendly senior folks at the end of the block... Tasty dishes, fairly big portion and very good prices (1 meat, 1 egg, 2 veg - SGD3 bucks!)

The dishes cooked better than most home cooked food, and they do not taste too salty or sweet and yet tasty.
All the vegetables are fresh and they are crunchy and taste so good.
Whether it is bean sprout, cabbage, egg plant, lady's fingers, choy sum, long beans, kai lan, xiao bai cai, nai bai... I love them all!!!
Stir Fry Liver, Sweet and Sour Pork, Fried Chicken Slices, Sliced Pork, Fish... most dishes are different for lunch and dinner.
I highly recommend anyone who loves simple home cook fancai to bring your own containers and dabao... as I have been buying from this stall for my family and they love it every time!
