Sandwich for a quick and simple bite

Nothing simple about this at all. Had this when i was studying in Ngee Ann Poly when i was from 2007-2009. It is still good. So it shows the quality hasnt changed. They did change the recipe only slightly but still gold. This is Splash n Decker Sandwiches From NP And NYP if you have studied there or had it there.

Right outside Four Leaves bakery. Love the sandwiches! I used to frequent this when it was in Ngee Ann Poly as "Splash n Decker". Can wait for quite a while as the sandwiches are made only upon order, and likely only 1 staff attending the counter at any time. Wouldn't hesitate when there is no queue.

CALLING ALL NGEE ANN POLY ALUMNUS. THIS IS THE FOUR LEAVES TOASTED SANDWICH THAT WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE. It tastes exactly the same when I last ate it in NP in 2003!! ???

What a hidden gem! The sandwiches are made fresh, and while simple are delicious. Hubby and I got the chicken salad and ham and egg breakfast sandwich. Both were toasted nicely and super affordable (~$4 per sandwich). It may seem unassuming, but if you’re in ion stop by this place (next to four leaves) for a quick snack!

Simply put : the taste of Nostalgia... ? A nondescript sandwich stand tucked between four leaves & GNC at the basement of Ion. I went there after hearing that my all time favorite sandwich shop at Ngee Ann polytechnic has shut down and relocated there with a rebranding from Splash n Decker to the current name. The auntie there was very nice and seems vaguely familiar ? (was it her that attended to me when I was a nerdy poly guy?) I looked at the menu and the closest to my perennial favorite was the avocado egg mayo. I asked her can I just have the classic egg mayo on white bread and she said can, just $4. I was excited, awash with anticipation after more than 18 years of missing this ?. When she handed me the paper bag, it was reassuringly heavy and when I peered into it. It was cut the same old school way ! ? When I held it in my hands the warmth of the freshly toasted bread was comforting ?... and when I took a bite.. I almost fainted from the flashbacks when I then a helpless nerdy poly boy sitting in the corner of Ngee ann poly atrium seeking comfort in my lunch of the day... this sandwich that meant so much to me... ? I with the confidence and affirmation of nostalgic taste without a doubt give this sandwich 5 thumbs up ! ??????????
