If you happen to patronise ah moy foodcourt, dont patronise this stall. What happened? ? This woman cook and the man cashier were very very rude towards me today due to a misunderstanding a few weeks ago. That woman said I was very rude when I didnt wait for her to explain whatever she was trying to say. I thought the tom yam was sold out already, so I did not hesitate further and decide to buy something else nearby as I was in a rush to go back to office. The next time after the last incident, I went to buy again she said that I was very rude and did not let her finish whatever she wanted to say or explain. I said to her no I wasnt, I am in a rush to go back to office that why I left without letting her finish. Then today, when I want to buy again, the man just shoo me off and when I asked what happened, he said I dont want to sell you, go away. Obviously, I become frustrated already, where in this world will a stall owner still hold grudge from some weeks ago and dont care about his customers nearby and even shouted at me. If you cannot learn to be understanding and control your poor behaviour and attitude, please shut your stall and get the hell out of our hawkers, our hawkers have no room for these rude bosses. ??? for their antics. NEVER EVER will I go to their stall again. There is another thai food stall just behind this thai stall, I would rather patronise them and give them business.

I think I remember always having the pad woon sen here. The fried mung bean vermicelli. I tried the $5 chicken basil Mama noodles today because all many bloggers talked about it. I think the hype is really because it is a unique combination. Didn’t like it. The taste of the instant noodles was strong. Too much dark soy sauce. Not enough basil. Disappointing. Didn’t have much choices. They were one of the few open at 7.30pm on a Tuesday during covid phase 2.

Great food, grumpy uncle, good prices. The pillars of good hawker food. *There is a sign that discourages sharing, so do take note of that to prevent misunderstandings* Mama Noodles with Basil Chicken Spicy! Be warned. It really reminds me of the late night supper spots in bangkok with a really BKK taste from the dark sauce and even spice levels here. The ultimate comfort food suitable for any day. Tom Yum Soup, Clear Again, spicy! Be warned. Can tell that the aromatic soup isn't from a packet and its brewed with real spices. The fried fish were pretty fresh too, being firm yet tender enough. "So good it kills" should be the theme here. But no worries, there's a drinks stall selling sugar cane drinks just opposite the stall. All green from me.

Went back to Amoy for dental appointment and did a quick lunch at Amoy Food Centre. Always long for this Thai food stall, serves one of the more authentic Thai food selection in my personal opinion and gentle on the wallet as well. Today ordered their Tom Yum Gong clear soup and requested for spicy…. Omg!! Nice, happy to have ordered this on a rainy afternoon. Suggest others to try their Seafood Fried Rice, pineapple fried rice and also “MamaMie”!! Their basil chicken rice with fried egg is nice too!! Can eat!
