★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generous portion of char siew and wanton, price is affordable but taste is too bland for my liking. I prefer my wanton noodle to have more pork lard taste and more savory instead of sweet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is also one of the stall at Amoy street food centre that serves wanton noodle. They are located on the 2nd level of Amoy food centre. There was already a short queue when I was there but it didn’t take long before it was my turn to order. Price of wanton noodle starts from SGD$3.50 onwards. Stall owner was friendly, managed to chat with him while he was preparing my food.
For $3.50, portion was quite generous. Noodle was nicely cooked, springy and the noodle has a bite to it. Love the sauce as well which has a right balance to it. Instead of serving cai xin, they used the more expensive kalian. Char siew was actually not bad, wished that they didn’t cut it till such small piece. Wanton was also not bad, also wished that it has more filling.
I personally think that this wanton noodle was above average, I wouldn’t mind eating it if I am happen to be in this area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good plate of wanton noodles. Noodles were done al dente and seasoned in light soya sauce. This is the way. Served with well seasoned wantons in a tasty light shrimp flavoured broth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Value for money Wanton Noodles here. Definitely like that it comes with a bowl of wanton to accompany the Char Siew noodles. The store owner seems friendly.
Food tastes a bit bland though, but I suppose that means it’s healthy / doesn’t have a lot of artificial seasoning.
Prices seem reasonable, so a decent lunch option for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is really quite a gem in the ocean of food options in this market. For $5.5, it’s absolutely value for money & a great choice any day. Noodle texture was springy, Chilli paste (not sauce) was rather tasty, char siew seems to be homemade well & did I mention there’s about 8 wantons in the accompanying soup.
All for $5.5, that’s just insane value.
