★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled accross this stall in food centre and surprisingly found a hidden gem. Watching uncle did wok tossing, smelling savory aroma from its mixed spices, drooling a lil bit, then fried rice ready in 1 min. Irresistably delicious! Really like the finish texture as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Five stars! Fried rice was cooked on a big wok, giving it a nice smoky flavour. Slightly sweet bakkwa, fried egg, and chives complement the dish excellently. Saw a lot of locals buying during lunch time. Give it a try when you are in the area! Place sells horfun too. Both are $4 and $5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was waiting for my food at A Noodle Story which was next to to Jin Hai. The cooking smells so good and the chef was an cute old man. I ordered the same thing the lady ordered ahead of me, small fried rice. Honestly one of the best fried rice I have eaten. A little spicy and it’s just delicious. $4 dollars for a small fried rice. Portion is big. Can’t wait to go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wok hei fried rice with real (not vegetarian) char siew, lupcheong and prawns. Old school fried rice done very well; uncle has maintained standard for more than 10 years. Price has increased due to inflation recently but would pay for it compared to subpar food. Uncle is one man show and always friendly. Opens weekdays only.
