β β β β β I was targeted by staff members, who believed I left a negative review, even though I told them it wasn't me.
I'm sure I wasn't the only one targeted and threatened.

β β β β β Signed up for a group keyboard course since 1 Oct 2018. Paid for two people for a few months worth of lessons, but class never began because they βcouldnβt find enough people to start the group classβ. They took no initiative to do anything about it, and when I contacted them quite a number of times to ask for a follow up, they just say that they will inform me once they can start a class.
If a school canβt start a group class for an entire year, something is wrong with their planning or system.

β β β β β Never enough students to start a group class.
Terrible counter staff service who only talk to you because "come, you need to pay", and say "if you want the group classes you ask your friends join la"
I was asked to make payment for a group vocal class in advance. On the day the class was meant to start, i went to the school and was told there weren't enough students to start a class (don't know why I wasn't informed earlier, it would've saved me a trip down).
After 1 month of no updates, I went to the school to ask about the status of the class, to which the reply from the desk girl was, "we will tell you when we have recruited enough students. Just wait for us to tell you, don't need to keep coming to ask."
The manager who happened to be there decided to convert it to private vocals classes as "service recovery". A few weeks later, I was charged the difference because, "you converted to private what, of course must pay the difference la"

β β β β β Graduating student of the music production and engineering diploma course here!
I had amazing, dedicated teachers who were still active in the industry and cared immensely about our wellbeing. Am not sure if they're the same every year, but the school admins take care to gather our feedback on each teacher every semester. The admins are also friendly and try their best to help us with any issues.
I have to say, as this school is small and only has one recording studio with decent but limited equipment, if you're unlucky enough to join a bigger class, you'll find yourself struggling to find studio slots to record, because you're competing with your classmates AND outsiders who rent the studio. I especially found this a struggle, because I joined during the circuit breaker period and we were told to find our own personal projects to develop our portfolio, in place of an internship (which is the usual requirement in order to graduate.)
This was quite a hassle, especially since studio hours were usually limited to 12-9pm (without taking into account any classes being conducted), unlike some other school studios that are open 24 hours.
Overall, amazing teachers that put hard work into the curriculum and really know their stuff, decent studio that is easy enough to book, but when there are assignments due, be kanchiong and plan/book everything early.
