β β β β β Their dishes very delicious. First time ordered the steamed Soon Hock fish, the fish was fresh but couldn't taste the sweetness of the fish, a bit disappointed. The Salted Egg Squid is a must order. I've tried the Asam Fish Head, it was superb and not expensive $25. The ζζ΄²η±³η²is my favourite too. Me and my friends love the zi char here.

β β β β β Horrid! Asked for extra chilli that old man said NO! Asked for extra bean sprouts that young man said need to charge $2 for a hand ful! Prices of their food kept increasing just between 2 months! Daylight robbery!!! I wonβt give even 1 star for this daylight robbery! Enjoy ripping off residents while you can as you will get KARMA!

β β β β β Tried their takeaway dishes: salted egg chicken, home-made beancurd, and mixed vegetables (Luo Han Zai). Verdict: all the dishes were just too "dry". Salted egg sauce, mince meat sauce for beancurd were just too little. Luo Han Zai was also dry. They could be more generous with the wet sauces which would be nice for toppings on the rice for kids . But the ingredients seems fresh and the separately packed chilli sauce was good. Hope the eatery will get this feedback positively. Cheers

β β β β β Their hor fun is not too bad with the wok hey type of smell and taste. But disappointing is the way they serve their customers double standards in term of if you are having a meal with a la carte seafood dishes etc, they dont keep the table cloth that is already placed over the table. We order hor fun and sweet and sour pork rice, and the waitress that serving us immediately took out the table cloth. I rather they dont put the table cloth at all and remove when you dont order up to their expectation.

β β β β β Came here during weekday evening. Wait is superbly long.
Bean with dried prawns are yummy! Fragrance of garlic and dried shrimps evident.
Har cheong kai was yummy too, chicken has great bite and tender on the inside. Great crunch! The har cheong paste is not very strong hence not very salty too.
Crab bee hoon was not fantastic - abit lacklustre, have tasted better crab bee hoon. Was abit dissappointed because it's supposed to be the star of the dish. Photo looks great right? But the crab meat was not tender, not sweet... though lots of crab roe!
Price is on high side but overall, they serve good zi char dishes!

β β β β β This small tze char store has been around for a really long time and the food kind of shows why. Priced very reasonably and portions are pretty good also as well. It's located in Elias mall near sheng siong, up a small flight of stairs. This is an air conditioned food court.
The sweet and sour fish was amazing, the fish slices were thick fish meat instead of the usual paper thin slices other places give. The tofu was good also as well with the minced meat sauce.
All in all a very pleasant dinner at a very pleasant price point. Would recommend to come by for a no frills tze char dinner.
