Lerk thai and fried rice were fast. But waa cow was painfully slow, 1 order and I waited 40 min. The staff were preparing like 20 orders at a time so how did that make sense? Seriously poor organisation of orders.

Dont recommend to come here and have anything soup is salty lesser then others price is real expensive. Service crew is damn rude very expensive for simple dishes like this.

Dined in at 8+ and halfway through ordering with the QR code it says no items available. Had to queue at counter to order. This bald old ah beng cashier chided me to order with my phone in future. I retorted that I did but it said there are no items available all of a sudden. And he says “Mam I’m talking to you nicely. Because I switched off the ordering.” No, you are not talking nicely. You made me order at the counter because you switched off the system, then you chide me for not ordering through the phone? Hello?? Huge attitude problem for someone who works in service line, esp for a problem he created. This very simple eatery reminds me of a school canteen but at restaurant prices (not to mention Hometeam has exorbitant parking fees). Everything in takeaway boxes. No service and you have to return your tray yourself. Overpriced.

I feel food is quite amazing, price is reasonable if you are a home team member (20% off). However I am so disappointed with their Thai ice lemon tea. I specifically ask whether the tea is homemade and not syrup/can, and the lady at the counter said it is. BUT the 'thai' ice tea tasted exactly like it is made from syrup or powder. Feel so cheated having to pay $3.20 for that. Other than that, I had the king of fried rice & chirashi don and they are awesome.

It’s an interesting and modern concept. Scan the QR code, order online, pay with credit card and wait for the number to show on the screen, go to the “locker” and pick up your food. I think think locker door is redundant in this case. You open it , take the tray of food and no hands left to close the opened door. And also opening of the doors are extra touch points, so not that hygienic since everyone touching it. The tables are frequently sanitized after each diner leaves but I don’t know how often the locker doors are sanitized. The food we ordered was quite good. Pork chop fried rice $6.80. Triple beef pho with beef, beef ball, tendon and tripe set with summer roll and Lemon tea $14.90. (Without set is $10.90). Both were tasty and filling. The fried rice I think it’s better than the popular chain d*nta*fung. The pork chop is thick and juicy. The rice was moist, eggy and flavorful. The pho was nice and flavorful too. Both portions were sufficient for adults. After dining just clear your table to the bins and you can leave. The staff are also friendly and helpful. As it was our first time , they patiently helped us with the ordering and picking up process. The place is popular for takeaways too and during meal times can be crowded. So order or go early. It’s great that one location you can order various restaurants’ food. Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, chinese, hongkong and even soup rice (paofan) but it was unavailable today. Wouldn’t mind going back again some day. ****update one week later**** Returned and I was very very disappointed. Walked all the way there to dine again. The auntie at the check in was quite rude. No doubt she’s doing her job checking in but she was very curt and seemed unwilling to help. Tried to order through their system after scanning the QR like I did last week. But the payment couldn’t go through. I tried repeatedly. But it showed a white page only. I approached the counter, nobody wanted to help despite the fact it was not crowded. Only 3-4 tables. When I asked if they can just do the order over the counter since the website it’s not working , the people behind the counter went into hiding. Then the same auntie came to the counter area to pick up the takeaway orders, I asked her but she hurriedly just said scan it. But I’ve tried, it didn’t go through. She hurried away. More interested in delivery or takeaway orders (but there’s only 1 delivery guy waiting) I tried asking her again when she came back but again she brushed me off, just scan!! It’s not my first time here. It didn’t work. I’m telling you as a customer it’s not working! Can’t you just be flexible and helpful? No. So we just left. As we left, other customers also left. They faced similar problems about ordering. Later as we were buying food at other outlets, a couple commented they went to Select as well but they were told to use the QR to scan and then pay only by card. They didn’t know how to work the system and didn’t have their card only had cash, so they couldn’t dine and left too. Since this is a neighborhood with school kids, residents etc, Select should be flexible and accept counter order and cash payment too. If SELECT just wants to do grab foodpanda Deliveroo etc food delivery service business only, then don’t open for business to public at the shop if they only want takeaway online business and not walk in. Very very disappointing and bad service. I revised my 4 stars to a 1.

Clean, fuss-free online ordering, self-service. Not too crowded. The lack of service may turn some people off, but personally, I quite like the current system considering the pandemic.

Price on the high side, quality is good, taste is above average Overall is 3.5-Star

Been here about 6 times. Service can be improved. Other then that good concept. Allows customers to order from various restaurant and eat in in small seating area. Order with qr codes collect via queue number from lockers. See pic. There was once, waited over 20min, cos the server key in the incorrect locker number.
