The options were limited come afternoom timing. It seems really popular. Fishball was really good. Rest is alright.

Average bowl of fishball noodles despite claims that of fishballs being self made. Only the chilli sauce was nice.

One should not miss two things when you are at Self Made Fishball Noodles. #1 - their Mackerel Fishballs, Deep Fried Mackerel Fish Cake & Meatballs. They are ALWAYS so FRESH, TASTY, SOLID with MACKEREL FISH ???? #2 - this is for all Chilli Lovers ?️??️?... Their secret weapon chilli sauce is a MUST TRY! It is so spicier than the fresh chilli padi. The spiciness can reach the end of scalp! So be forewarned. (PS. I didn't order the dried chilli noodle this time as I wasn't feeling well that day). I did not give them a full 5-stars because the Prawn Dumplings Soup. The Prawn Dumpling ??? is value for the price $5 for 5 huge pieces with one complete S/M size prawn and firmly held minced pork and chopped water chestnuts ???. The issue is the meat is too bland. They should have put light seasoning (salt, Chinese wine, soy sauce) this will enhance the freshness of the Prawn therein. The next thing I want to try is their Braised Chicken Feet. They looked SOOOO TEMPTING & DELICIOUS ???

The fish balls are good. Spongy and firm. The chef cooks every bowl diligently. Beware of the chilli, it is pretty spicy. Let them know less chilli if you can’t take too spicy. We ordered one with the fish cake and one basic with the fish balls alone. Both tasted good. Expect a queue during lunch hour.

Fish Ball, Meat Ball and Fish Cake Noodle. Not really sure if they really self-made all the fish ball, meat ball and fish cake but these taste really not too bad although the meat ball will be my top choice followed by the fishcake.

The fishballs and fried fishcakes are good. Soup broth is tasty too. Do be forewarned that the dried spicy version chili sauce is shiok especially if you like it extra spicy. Unfortunately for this visit their noodles were overcooked.

I ordered a portion of dried meepok noodles and 5 fishballs served in a bowl of flavorful soup. I’m not sure if the spicy version of the dried noodles would have been served with tomato sauce, but I specifically requested for that to be omitted. The noodles were coated well with a fiery spicy sauce. I personally prefer my noodles less al dente and it did soften to my desired texture as the residual heat cooked the noodles. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful soup and the amazing bouncy bite the handmade wolfherring (also known as ikan parang or 西刀鱼) fishball had. Though it’s rare for me to consume the accompanying soup of most dishes I eat out, I finished the entire bowl of soup.

Fish ball and noodles were adequate. Noodles can be a bit more springy but it really isn't a big deal breaker. Expected fish ball to be more tender if it is self made. Fish cake is highly crispy on point and would recommend you try that.
