Our favorite oyster omelette. Yes, it can be slightly oily and unhealthy, but this dish is not meant to be healthy anyway. Their version actually uses more eggs than the omelette mix, making it more eggy and flavourful. They also break the omelette into small pieces so some pieces can be quite crispy. Size of the oysters depend on what they can get hold of but usually still quite plump and juicy. Chili is good to cut the grease by providing some acidity but the dish can still be enjoyed without it. I like to go visit the place after 1030pm (they close at midnight, rain or shine), as there is lesser crowd and if you are very lucky, no queues at all.

This is a great place to have the best Oyster Omelette in Singapore in my opinion. Great flavors and sometimes generous servings. Aunty is not always moody but I'm sure you'll catch her on a high ever so often. After trying this Oyster Omelette you'll be back for more. It's definitely different getting your usual tasting omelettes. It's worth the travel because there's a really good satay stall not far from this one.

Reputed to be the best fried oyster in the city but not to my liking as it’s swimming in grease. The dish is flavourful and the chilly sauce is good; used to have to a long queue but is more manageable after 2nd Lock Down.

After many attempts to get try this or luak which many have said is one of the best in town, we managed to snag a plate. What a disappointment though ! Absolutely soaking in oil, the soggy tapioca flour batter was really gummy. No crispy edges. Hardly any oysters. Totally over rated. There are much better versions even in neighborhood food courts. But their hp no is there in case you want to prove me wrong !

$5 portion tastes good. quite oily. also some ppl might feel that the chilli is too salty, so add in moderation. but the wok hei is present, and that is all it matters

BAD. Die die cannot eat. I haven't eaten oyster omelette for a long time. I was craving for it and it did not satisfy. Lets just say that if u put me at the wok, I can do a better job. When he was frying, I already have a feeling the omelette cannot make it. I thought he was frying chai tow kway carrot cake. Why so broken? Cannot eat with chopstick. Give spoon better. But I will not come back. Die die cannot eat. Even food court better.

Crispy, gooey and eggy. Pretty much sums up my ideal plate of fried oysters. The tangy chilli dip packs a punch too, and the acidity helps to cut the grease. The queues are long during dinner time. But if you’re up for a quick supper fix, you’re in luck! I’ve had this three times fresh in the past few months and it’s been absolutely delicious on all occasions. With that said, this likely won’t be as good for takeaway.

Looked for this famous Or Luak store when having Sunday dinner and ordered the large portion $10. Plentiful serving of Oysters and a good portion on the plate. However, I compare it to my regular Newton Circus stall and was more used to that style especially the crispness! Agree w other reviewers on too much oil and wasn’t as appealing overall. Chill sauce was good But you must like this method of frying !
