Pleasant experience - a small clinic. The dentist is courteous. Needed a few fillings and was happy with the work.

Have been going to Sharon Yip since 2012. Will go for polishing or doing filling for my tooth annually. Very disappointed for today incident(1/12/18) Appt was 11.15am and I was 10 mins late reach there around 11.25am. there was no patient at the counter when I reached there. Nurse told me I have to wait. Logic told me there is someone in the room doing treatment so l need to wait. 5 mins later, Father bought his 2 teenagers to see Dentist. Nurse mentioned to me I need to wait. And she start asking the Father about his children medical history, this Father seems unable to answer. He asked his two children to wait for him and went off to find out his medically details somewhere. nurse suddenly told me that I have to wait for these two teenagers finish than my turn. She said their appt was 11.30am. I was sitting there feeling something went wrong. My appt was 11.15am and just I am late for 10mins, is not that I did not turn up and some more I am there before them. Dun tell me is this the way you punished customer when they are late. I was furious, stand up and ask the nurse, could you let me go in first as I need to rush off to have next appt after this. She answer me that these two patient very fast one. I feel offended, tell her if that the case I dun want to see the Dentist, she look at me and tell me maybe I can book some other day and she put me the first appt. what nonsense she is talking about!!!!! If that person can’t make it on that day , no matter how first you put them in the slot. Cannot make it means cannot make it. OMG!! What type of customer service is this? Is this the way you treat customer/patient?? She tell me to ask the two teenagers whether can let me go in first. One of them agreed. And this stupid nurse act act go in and ask the Dentist. (Not sure whether she said the true incident to the Dentist) finally my turn to go in. I was full of anger in my stomach, tot of complaint to the Dentist, but at that moment I tell myself , nvm, this will be my last time to patronise them. The most they lost one customer. I wrote this is to highlight this is not the way to handle customer(to me i treat that she is punishing customer who are late. ) is very ridiculous that they treat customer like that!!!customer came late to punish customer just to make them wait for customer behind them to finish before they attend to you. Very lousy customer service !!!

Quite the typical heartland dental clinic. Charges are reasonable and the receptionist auntie is very friendly and good natured. Had my annual polishing done and it was one of the most painful I had.

Underrated clinic! Its been so long since i have a good dental experience! Will definitely come back every year for my dental check up

Dr Yip is very reasonable in her charges. Had a wisdom tooth extracted in the past. It was very hard to extract but she persevered and extracted it v cleanly. Although it was a tough extraction, she only charged me S$70. Compared to all others like ntuc etc which quoted me minimally 150 bucks. Highly recommend Dr Yip. I would love to go back to her clinic but sadly, I've moved out of cck.

Had a half broken tooth that became infected with a few roots left stuck in the gum. At first consulted a dental clinic near my house in Teck Whye as it was very painful but the dentist told me it needed surgery and may cost upwards of 600 dollars. Even though it was claimable from medisave, I did not feel comfortable and was not convinced and went back to Dr Sharon Yip. Within 20min of stepping into the clinic, my broken tooth was dislodged, in a comfortable reassuring environment unlike the clinical (& scary) look of most dental clinics and the cost came up to less than one fifth of what the other clinic wanted to charge. Will definitely go back to Dr Sharon Yip in the future. :)
