Short queue today at 8.30am due to mostly people eating vegetarian today. First time tried, so yummy ordered dry kway teow with chilli and vinegar more but still not very spicy enough for me and the pork lard is crispy and their pork is 100% fresh.

Came to try this very popular fishball minced meat noodle in Bukit Merah view, they are located inside a coffeeshop at blk 116.When i reached, there was already a long queue, but it moved pretty fast and in no time it was my turn to order. Something interesting to take note, there are 2 people cooking over here, something not commonly seen. Noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards. Apart from fishball minced meat noodle, they also serves a variety of noodles like laksa and fried kway teow.Portion was definitely generous, noodle was springy and the sauce was amazing, it has a balance of savory and tangy notes from the chili and vinegar. The lard was also fantastic. its comes with the standard ingredient like fishcake, minced meat, sliced pork and fishball. Overall, I did enjoyed this bowl of noodle and wouldn't mind coming back again !

There is always a long queue for this stall although I think the Laksa is good, but not great. The gravy is of the lighter version, less creamy but still has strong prawn paste.

I remember when I first tasted this fishball noodle was when I’m 10 years old. This stall is just located opposite my primary school and my friend brought me over for lunch. Ever since then, this is my favorite fishball noodle. My father used to buy it every weekend for me as breakfast. But ever since I moved away, I seldom have a chance to eat it. So I craved for it and decided to drive down to takeaway for lunch. Despite taking away, the noodle is still heavenly. The noodle retained its moisture with the chilli sauce soak in it. Not those soggy Mee Pok but Al dente kind! The minced meat does not have the piggy taste(if you know what I meant). The pork lard is marvelously paired with the chilli. I always like to look for the tiny little shrimp mixed in the chilli paste. You don’t usually find this in any other fishball noodle. Fried garlic can be found in the chilli sauce which gives a fragrance taste that will linger in the mouth. The fishball soup is sweet and does not make me feel thirsty. Thumbs up for a happy , satisfying dabao lunch! ?

Always there is a Q for this stall. But really there is nothing to shout about. Noodle is nice and qq but don’t think I will Q for 20 minutes to eat this.

One of the best fishball noodles around. The lard bits are super crunchy and fresh (unlike some other stalls) The queues can be long, but they have 2 chefs cooking at 2 different counters which makes it faster than usual stalls that only have 1 chef. I got to try their laksa next.

Wanted to eat the teochew porridge at thus coffee shop and saw a long for the bak chor mee. Decided to join the queue and verify for myself ? Certainly worth the wait and was pleasantly surprised to find a good bak chor mee in this area. The noodles was cooked perfectly and the sauce with the pork lard was just amazing! Queue moved quite fast too as they have 2 pots cooking the noodles at the same time. ??
