The guy at the stall got a bit of attitude one. Satay is decent but after I got shortchanged by one stick I stopped patronizing the stall. Ten sticks also can count wrongly lol

Following a recent food blog in ieatishootipost, we called up and ordered the satay for our home feast! (We called 2 days ahead.) The takeaway was neatly packed and the satay sauce was generous. But who needs the sauce when each skewer is so so so very tasty! We had the chicken, pork and mutton (70cents each stick) The marinates for the chicken and pork are best! The mutton is nice too, but played 2nd fiddle to the stars ? Will order again for our next satay feast!

Ordered 10 sticks of pork and chicken respectively ($0.80 per stick as at mid Jun 2022). I preferred the pork over the chicken satay. The satay sauce is pretty good too.

Tried the chicken and beef satay. Very good flavor and the sauce is fantastic! Good value too.

The 古早味 is pretty legitimate. Even my dad feels like they're very old school, as if he went back to his Kampong times. Means something I guess, especially to the older generation. Tried their pork satay, and I must admit it's pretty good. Mind-blowing, no. That said, given C19, their opening hours are very extremely erratic, also because of the lack of crowd compared to before. They close by around 645-7pm, and they're now opened only Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

For $0.70 per stick, the meat were chunky, well marinated and nicely grilled. Generous serving of cucumbers and onions too. However, the sauce was on the sweeter side. E-payment was available. A bit disappointed that everything were served on styrofoam even for dine-in. Also, you have to order by writing on a form, which I think is an unsafe practice due to the current pandemic situation because the pen is a source of cross-contamination, but do note that hand sanitiser is provided. But respect both guys for wearing face covers despite the intense heat in the kitchen.

This stall is located at an obscure part of this large food centre. It will certainly worth your time to find it. The chicken satay was juicy and succulent. Barbecue to just right amount of 'char'. Satay gravy was equally great with the good balance of peanut and pineapple taste. ??????
