β β β β β This is a tough review. I grew up eating street snacks from Shilin and enjoyed them. However recently, I found the fried chicken to be sorely lacking - in terms of texture and flavour. Mind you, these are not cheap and I earnestly found food here to be βbetter than in Taiwanβ in the past.
The experience was quite far of from the expectations Iβve had, and I surely wonβt be looking forward to Shilin anymore.

β β β β β Ordered without chilli powder, staff used the tray for chilli powder and added the fragrant powder... When I pointed it out, he said that there's no chilli at all... Now my kids can't eat it because its too spicy for them.
