Not sure how did this shop obtainedany sort of good reviews, because we clearly didn’t experience any of the good service mentioned. Wanted to have the heels of my work shoes repair, however all the old uncle did was to take a glance and abruptly indicated that it cannot be repaired, only upon repeated clarification then he mentioned that he is unable to repair it in time by CNY. I told him I can wait as long as the repair is good, but he seemed unwilling. I didn’t experience any of the patient explanation as other reviews indicated. Secondly the price quoted was high, higher than other established cobblers I encountered, especially for a small shop without warranty or assurance. Thirdly, I had to ask repeatedly about the rubber used since the price was high, as he did not mentioned what kind of rubber he will be using. He then took out continental rubber heels and said I have to pay $20 extra. And when I told him the price seems a little high, he berated in a belittling tone using abalone as an analogy. I would have appreciated more if he can explain what is the advantage of the continental over his brandless heels, which he gave by default. All in all a terrible experience, so much for finding his shop deep inside the residential estate under the sweltering heat ?

The uncle is very rude. Used anger tone for no reason and do not acknowledge or reply when he greeted. When i infirmwd him politely about my shoes he just take the shoe look at it and out back on the table said rudely and using angsty time for no reason. This is the 2nd time he is this way for no reason. I remembered i came to him a couple of years back too. Wont go for a 3rd time.

There are no shoe repair shop from Jurong to Woodlands MRT wise that i can find from maps. This uncle here was here for over 13 years already, last time he was situated outside Cheers at the MSCP that was tore down for the Jurong Tuas line. He finally got his own shop and although he seem unfriendly and quiet; you must give him time to contemplate and figure out what to do with your shoe. Meticulous in explaining what your shoe(s) need for the repair, the uncle also charge what seem to be a little higher price. But if you have no time for nonsense, want high quality repair and has abit more to spend, he is your man for sure.
