Probably one of the better "Five Spice" stores. Love the various fish cakes. The chilli sauce is tangy and goes well with the steamed beehoon.

It is at Toa Payoh Lorong 8 Hawker Centre and Market. The taste is ok and the prices are normal prices. It is self service ,so have to wait at the stall for your food.Easy to access and locate as the hawker centre is just by the road.Parking is easy at the HDB car park just beside it and behind it. Alright here’s my take. I would honestly give you 5 stars. The food is amazing. I dream and crave for it every single day but the problem is, you guys are closed most days and on those days that you guys are open it’s only till 8pm. C’mon..please rework on the opening timing please.

Been eating this stall for the past 4-5 years. Food is of quality and decently priced. Today, as a regular customer, I was smack in the face by the lady boss attitude. I used to order ingredients with bee hoon to accompany the food. As the serving of the bee hoon is small, I usually just go back for a top up. For a plate that small, $1 is hefty sum to pay. But due to the quality of the bee hoon, I had always allow that little indulgence. Today, to my horror, I was told that I had to order 3 extra ingredients before I can order the Bee Hoon. This feels like another way to churn money out of the customers. I remember our Prime Minister mentioning that Hawker Food should remain affordable for the masses. This is our food culture. But to my horror, this stall just decided to upclass itself in a Hawker Center by putting up with a Minimum Ordering Quantity. As a fare paying customer ( a repeating customer to be exact) , I do not understand why was a door slammed in my face. To top it up, this is equivalent to individuals ordering 1 whole chicken at the chicken rice stall but was unable to add rice to accompany the chicken that was unfinished. Rental for Hawkers are already at the minimal with regulation from the regulating bodies, why is there MOQ? Why are Hawkers that are supposed to be passionate about serving the crowd coming up with such gimmick to make exorbitant profits. Not that profits is bad, it is the gist of owning a business. But I think after sale service should also exist in a Hawker Center. Hence I highly recommend any individuals against visiting this place as you will be left an unsatisfied customer with frustrations.

Opens for only 4 days a week, Friday to Monday from 12 to 8pm. Its pretty decent food. Small portion of beehoon with MOQ of 3 items in ordered to sell you. Slightly expensive though in my opinion for a hawker stall in a Toa Payoh.

I love the Prawn Cracker crisp and nice. Ngoh Hiang, yam roll, fish ball, red sausage, steam bee hoon etc. Chilli shiok. Reasonable price. One of the best in Toa Payoh Lor 8. Open 12-8pm or until habas. Tues to Thurs closed.
