★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance upon another stall selling fishball noodle with a queue along the same stretch as hong Xing fishball noodle. Decided to give it a try as well since the queue wasnt too long, there were about only 5pax before me. A bowl of fishball noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards.
Noodle was slightly overcooked and the texture of the noodle were much softer. Flavour wise, could do with slightly more season, otherwise it has that 古早味. The bowl of fishball noodle came with minced pork, sliced fishcake and fish paste dumpling.love their fishcake somehow, the exterior has that deep golden colour.
The stall was operated by an elderly uncle, therefore be patient and understanding as his action may not be the quickest.
