Was sceptical trying new food due to a recent horror ramen experience in amk but to my surprise, this was a hit. Rice was delicious and chicken tastes great. Would eat again.

Best Ayam Penyet in town. If you like it with spicy sambal chili, they have very nice sauce to spice you up!

Ordered delivery 3 times from them so far. Love the signature Ayam Penyet and the oh-so-sedap chilli. It comes in 3 intensities so I often requested for different levels for the family. Oh and did I mention the tauhu goreng? Definitely made a repeat customer out of me.

Honestly terrible. Chicken was super tough, unable to bite through. Rice was hard and not cooked properly. Sotong was like rubber bands, tough and chewy. A complete waste of money and calories

Today we trying this smash ayam penyet... and the chicken was so crispy and delicious while the chilli was so shiok!

Rice is very very nice!! Real my number one soul food ! Chili source is fish smell but!!! With rice or chicken !! So nice combination!!!!! Fried chicken is crisp but little bit chewed So i will order other menu next time. Make me very full and happy ! Real rice is so good taste!!!!!

@smashfoods.sg is one of the best ayam penyet I have tasted! I got here, U.S.A Set. Come in Ayam, Prawns and Sotong. The chicken is fried to perfectly golden brown crisp perfection on the outside, while retaining tender and juicy meat on the inside. Every bite of this fried chicken is packed with flavour and extremely flavourful. The sotong pack a good chewy texture, but not until it gets overly rubbery. The deep-fried exterior provided a good crunch that made me feel like I was eating a crispy savoury snack. The prawn looked majestic here and the meat come off the shell easily which indicates how fresh the prawns are. It was juicy and tender, with the right amount of firmness. Nasi Kerapu Penyet. An entire whole grouper is used here. The fish is crispy and golden on the outside while the white meat was succulent and moist and didn’t taste too fishy for my liking. As a matter of fact, is more crispy compared to the crispy crumbs added. I am also pleased with how fresh the fish is. Each set also served with fried tofu and tempeh. The crispy crumbs here are exceptionally tasty, gave a good crunch and goes well with rice. What also stand out is their fluffy flavoured rice making me finish to the last grain. Pairing with their sambal that is so addictive and really helped elevate the entire dish. Tauhu Goreng I love their tauhu goreng! Deliciously fried to a crisp on the outside while the beancurd inside remain moist and tender. Topped with peanuts, shredded carrots, beansprouts, shredded cucumber and drizzle with their robust sauce is really the best combo. Mee Soto A bowl of comforting yellow noodle with shredded chicken in a light clear broth that is flavourful. The fork-tender shredded chicken was easily the highlight of the dish.
