★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best shop that has opened in the neighbourhood! Have visited this shop 3x in 1.5 months.
They have 2-3 types of mookata dipping sauces and it's shiok. Price is definitely very affordable. I ordered mookata ala carte + 1pack of instant noodles (just use the seasoning to create your own tomyum soup), rounds up to about $15/pax - thats 1/2 the price of eating at Golden Mile! Pair it with the kopitiam drinks (teh ping, kopi ping) - BLISS.
Ps: If you have vegetarian friends don't worry, there's always Kwan Inn Chai in the same coffeeshop so you guys can enjoy your food together. The irony haha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both the lobster pot and the mookata is amazing. The lobster is fresh and the pork is well marinated. Love that the place is open, airy and cooling so that you don't really smell like a walking mookata after dinner! Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is very overpriced. 1 portion of hotdog is $2.50 but its actually 1 stick of hotdog cut into 6 bite size piece. I was quite ???? over it. Anyway the Tomyum Mama was good. Mookata food was okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the shop name has '81' in it, this supreme Mookata eatery scores a perfect 100 in my book, in terms of delicious food and friendly service. Personally I'm not a fan of Mookata, but this place is so good and such value-for-money, that I'll definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Portion is small for 2 platters. Mookata Chilli is watery and just plain spicy with no kick. (not nice) Ordered the mama noodle, is okay. Wouldn't make my way there specially just for the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son wanted to eat Mookata and this place was rather near my house. We reached there before 10.30 pm. Check the website closing time is 12 am. When we reached there, we were told closing at 11 pm and not serving mookata. Only tom yum available. No choice since we were already there. Ordered a set meal for 2 costing $16.90. This turned out to be an extremely miserable meal.
The tom yum comes with noodles, 3 eggs, 4 miserable pieces of pork and 5 pork balls.
Tom yum so so only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered portion for 2 and a tomyum mama lobster Soup is sweet and good, prawn is fresh, meat is ok. Reasonable price. But the lobster wasnt too fresh. Tomyum was slightly too sourish for most of us. But depends on own preference.
