I will just say for the food centre part of this market : it has the feel of old school hawker centres.( I don't mean the building . The building is modern ) . The hawkers are mostly run by friendly mum and pop older generation . The food is standard hawker centre fare of course . There are no stand out stores or dishes like other places , just normal old school local dishes. Snaking queues here are a result of really cheap prices . : ) The price is really a steal ! U can get really cheap and decent to good tasting food. The ambience here feels homely , it has something to do with the people who run the stalls. If u want to immerse in some nostalgia (feel how the 1970s , 1980s , 1990a … older generation run their stalls ), u can try this place . :)

I have been coming to this stall with my wife for breakfast the last few years. It’s our favorite breakfast of Tiong Bahru Chun Fa Wanton noodle in this area. This humble looking stall serves up delicious Char Siew pork and firm noodles drizzled with a tasty sauce of herbal flavor. Recommend to try out the non chili version.

Simple and yet yummy food as always!!! Market n shops have been around as i personally know abt 20 years now. Vast varieties of over more den 100 selections of food dishes all under one roof. Shops opens as early as 5am to cater for those going morning shift, school n etc and they close abt after evening when most of the aging neighbourhood quiets down. Sinks to wash ur hands aft a meal available too. And there is FREE WIFI 24/7, SERVICE PROVIDED BY SINGTEL. Market stalls r many which includes 1st floor n 2nd floor. 2nd floor has provision stall, tailor stall, prayer items stall, flower stall, fruit stall, egg stall etc Carpark space available. There is even a multi story carpark just a stone throw away. Toilets available. Even lift is available. Wheel chair friendly. Wet market which is actually clean and dry.

This hawker centre draws the older crowds mostly. The food stall operates only half day. By 2pm they're closed except for the Indian Muslim stall.
