He listened and did a thorough check and then recommended the best treatment to get me going again. Nothing that was excessive or nothing that was minimalistic. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I met Dr Chua was about 9-10 years ago in TTSH and I regretted not following up my treatments with him! I have been seeking treatments for lower back pain and with his expertise and experience, just a physical examination this time, he told me I have to deal with a hip joint problem. With MRI & Xrays, Dr Chua took time to explain my conditions and the treatment options. He also recommended a Specialist for a hip arthroplasty whose service and expertise was top notch too.
Dr Chua remains as my main physician who treated my spinal stenosis whilst the other surgeon worked on my hip! Dr Chua visited daily during my 1 week stay at the hospital and spent time to chat and treated me like how a 'friend' would rather than just a patient. Today's the 12th day after my surgery and I have not felt any pain or discomfort.
Dr Chua's demeanour is one that sets him apart as he is empathetic and genuine and a caring person before a great doctor! I have been telling all my friends about Dr Chua and my great experience! Thank you Dr Nicholas Chua!
