As a result of numerous operations and injuries, I have suffered from chronic pelvic pain for many years. Treatment attempts were carried out at a number of clinics in different countries / continents without any notable success. I visited Dr. Mark Wong as an expert - among his other qualifications in rectal surgery - on pelvic floor problems. He immediately recognized the underlying problem and suggested a new type of treatment. The necessary surgical intervention was carried out in the clinic under general anesthesia and resulted in almost complete freedom from pain. Concerning to Dr. Mark the procedure can be repeated at any time if the pain recurs, which was the case after more than one year; it was also successful and the effect was long lasting. In addition to his excellent professional competence, which I can judge as a medical professional, Dr. Mark has great empathy towards his patients and is also committed to the best possible course of the hospital stay. I felt absolutely safe and great with him at all times, both professionally and personally, and would like to highly recommend him to other patients. Unfortunately I cannot visit him at Singapore at the moment due to the pandemic situation, but I will do so as soon as it will be possible.
