Dessert portions are pretty good and it's obvious the auntie puts a lot of effort into making her desserts. The taste is really as natural as it gets. Not too sweet. The desserts do take a bit of time to make as she makes it on the spot but that's ok.

Super bad experience as Lady was extremely rude. Shop clearly displayed paynow option and sign but refused to fulfill my order. The lady even got upset with me and refused to help me with the cancellation of the transaction. She even shouted at me in public and told me that there's nothing she can do. Her attitude is extremely rude and bad. When I messaged the shop via the mobile number provided online and even messaged them on FB to void the transaction but they were ignored. If paynow option is not accepted, your shop should not put the sign or the code at the cashier. The lady should also be taught not to scream at customers, which is very uncalled for. I read the online reviews, and realized I'm not the only who got misled by the sign!

Hmmm, steamed egg w ginger and yam paste w gingko. As u can see, there wasn’t any gingko inside sadly. TBH, these desserts did not taste that bad. In fact the steamed egg was quite smooth and so was the yam paste. Also sweetness level was ok, not too sweet which is good. Although I feel that the consistency could be thicker tho, cause they tasted quite watery. Also a major turn off was that the hygiene level here is so bad! Just looking at the staff handle the mango w her bare hands and leaving it on the cutting board for a long time while she attended to other stuff was rly pretty gross.

Super rude and poor customer service Payment methods accept favepay but only above $10. Else you can paynow. Like all other shops you can paynow by scanning the QR code. But for some reason, in this shop, the paynow number and the QR code don’t match up. Hence I transferred to the wrong account (transferred to SQ Tea account and not the number written on a small post-it note). After I transferred, guess what happens? This China lady mending the shop started shouting at me. Saying “Do you not understand? I said transfer to the phone number not the QR code. You don’t understand me? Why did you do this?” At this point, I have already transferred the money, no way of reversing this action. So I asked do I have to transfer twice and double pay now? She checked the machine again, knowing she have already received payment she said never mind. Don’t patronise this shop if you do not want to get shouted at. Never should a customer get shouted at for doing something wrongly when the instructions and processes in this shop misleads the customer to do the wrong actions.

Chanced upon this small place at the basement in FEP @ 930pm. Sweet lady & the amount of effort that went into the making of the 3 bowls was 101%. Took her quite someeee time (to be very honest) to prepare the 3bowls considering that there were no one. They served a variety of dessert (drinks/traditional dessert), desserts that we tried were in generous portion, not very sweet as compared to the usual dessert outlets too. Would love to come back to support her. ?

I would give 0 stars. The worst dessert stall I have ever patronised. Poor service and when I asked about the 2.00 green bean and sea weed soup advertised - I was given a dirty look - and was sternly informed that that was a “small bowl “ not the usual size . It was foamy when it came , tasted like green beans and hot water - no evidence of seaweed added. Desserts were just thrown into the microwave to be heated. Don’t waste your time and money here . You could do a better job cooking it at home .

Unexpected find. Little dessert shop tucked in the corner of B1 of Far East Plaza. It took about 10 minutes or so for the one lady manning the store to get our dessert out. There were two other tables before us waiting for their food. I thought it meant that the desserts weren't just some factory bulk cooked stuff but at least assembled/cooked when ordered. Not out of this world but certainly respectable dessert. Good place for a small dessert if your main meal didn't fully satisfy.

This is a small Chinese dessert shop which I frequent whenever I visit Far East Plaza. The steamed egg curd desser is my favourite. The service crew is often polite and quick to serve. This is a nice corner to enjoy small local desserts in busy and expensive Orchard Road.
