β β β β β A relative of mine was transferred from NUH to St. Lukes today (14/03/18).
According to what my cousin mentioned, the nurses are rude and impatient. Reading through those reviews, it makes me feel like it's all posted by either their own staffs or nurses.

β β β β β A lovely community hospital dedicated to rehabilitation of the elderly after a hospital admission. The physiotherapy staff and nursing here are super friendly and patient. Not forgetting the pastoral care team who organized weekly worship session for patients who are interested.

β β β β β Clean environment. Staff seem to be very busy with their own task with the patients but was friendly when asked for info. Our family friend was under their care and is recovering well since discharge. Clearly, the physiotherapy sessions helped a lot in the progress in this case.

β β β β β Was contacted by the hiring team for a position which they claimed to have emailed me the link to the web interview, I didnt receive it. I wasted my leave for this interview which didn't take place. On top of that they called and stated they would reschedule the interview and didn't get back to me. Called me out of the blue today and asked if I'm aware of the new interview date and time without following-up with me. Not to mention they got irritated when I finally declined the interview due to their carelessness. Imagine joining an organisation as ridiculous after this fiasco.

β β β β β St Lukes hospital has a very weird policy. Their visiting hours is limited to 10-12, 2-4 and 6-8pm. I hope they understand that family members are committed to many things, eg children school/ tuition hours, working hours etc. I can understand if this policy is applicable during weekdays as the patients are out for rehab, nurses need to fulfil some duties etc., but it doesnt make sense how this is applicable during weekends when there are no doctors around and the patients have nothing to do in the entire weekend.
I hope you revisit this policy. It doesnt make sense every hospital allows longer and flexible visiting hours other than st lukes.

β β β β β St Lukes hospital has very weird visiting hours - 10am to 12pm, 2-4pm and 6-8pm. This makes it extremely difficult for parents who have kids, working adults, folks with commitments etc. We understand that the visiting hours should only start at 10am and end at 8pm due to various reasons, but cant comprehend why the break between 12-2pm and 4-6pm, while other hospitals typically allow morning to evenings without a break in between. It is very frustrating and pose a lot of inconveniences to many people.

β β β β β A quiet and nice place. My uncle like it here more than the hospital. Nurses were helpful and cheerful. Take bus 991 and walk about 60m.Feel it's about 150m away from the batok polyclinic... Its beside batok blk 160.
