Starbucks

One of the few outlets that always have tables available, not as crowded as other starbucks outlets. Service was v mediocre during my time of visit in the morning. Empty chairs and tables were available (a stretch of high table, a round table with 2 wooden chairs, a round table w sofa seat and wooden chair). I was just done w my meal and was waiting for my hubs to return from toilet before going off. The Indian male staff came to me and asked "are u done?" - like I owed him something. Literally "ARE YOU DONE?" I said yeah then only he proceeded saying there was a group of 3 coming in. I wouldn't mind leaving the place but the approach with the words used to inform me was kinda unpleasant. Moreover, there were empty tables everywhere too?????? Also, I probably only sat at that table for less than 30mins from when the food was ready. I was not hogging the table for more than an hour. The group of 3 which included the mom, her toddler and a helper came in. The mom was really nice and told me I didn't have to leave the table for them cos they ultimately would only require the table with 2 chairs and will grab the baby highchair from the corner to put at the table. Guess what? In the end they sat at the empty table in front of me because when I left my table, the male staff also didn't bother clearing the plates and cups from the table. So much for rushing me off when he did not even clear the table right away for the mom. Lame. Serving/pick up area seems to be the same spot that they put dirty cups and plates after they clear the table. V unhygienic imo. Anyway, the hot chocolate caramel drink was really damn sweet, I couldn't finish the whole thing. Food tasted OK albeit looking really unpleasant. The croissant was really v flat (like squashed flat) but still soft la. Just look v meh. 1 star for service, 2 star for food.

It was the Worst starbucks in Singapore until 2 weeks ago...I received poorly made drinks, wrongly made drinks every time i bought from Starbucks at Canberra. One of the baristas was always looking very unhappy, has poor attitude and even rude,. Then recently, its either the baristas resigned or that they realised theres something wrong with their baristas working here and changed them out entirely recently. The drinks went back to the good starbucks standards! lol Good job on Starbucks on managing service and quality.

Got 3 breakfast sets at $7.90 each as takeaway (they included a main and choice of coffee/tea), but the coffee black was disappointingly diluted! even tho they supposedly cost $2 since the mains in the set @ ala carte were $5.90 each :0 On another note, the staff at the same outlet had been v friendly even close to closing hours when we visited the last time.:)

Like the quietness here, shop is follow the social measure distance, can only enter to seat after you are checked in and completed orded.

Messy queue. We have a bigger group which requires all of us to queue together to the order counter to get into the seating. While other outlets allow us to get seats first after checking our Tracetogether before we start to queue for the drinks and food. Super inflexible .

The barista was very friendly! The breakfast set was rlly nice too!

Nice cafe for Sunday come. No so much people during weekend. Staff service very nice and kind. Now a day also can order by Starbuck App. Very convenient and quick. I love it.

I really enjoy Starbucks muffins. They look incredibly sweet and commercialized but actually taste really good. Generous size and not overly sweet or oily. And good for a late night snack when everything else is closed. Have tried both the blueberry and banana walnut muffin. Blueberry is a little sweet but still manageable. Love the banana walnut one that usually goes OOS. The young lady serving me on a Saturday late evening was so friendly and chirpy. It was almost 10pm, but she remained unfazed by the small crowd that gathered. Very smiley and courteous :) ??
