StarMed Specialist Centre - 12 Farrer Park Station Rd

Visited StarMed due to high fever, and the facility was able to conduct tests for COVID and dengue efficiently (same day results). Friendly staff were also helpful in processing my case, with updates on tests provided over WhatsApp and email. Pricing was also communicated clearly upfront.

My son consulted Dr Peter Ting on a few occasions in Apr/May 2022. Besides Dr Ting, the staff were also professional, courteous, patient and prompt in their follow-up for info or appointments. Dr Peter Ting is highly recommended if you're looking for a heart specialist.

Done health screen on 01Jul'22 morning. The experience from making appointment to completion was smooth and pleasant. Appointment booking was easy and fuss-free. The staff were friendly, provide clear instructions and patient with my questions. Some other clinics have pre-packed fanciful bento after the round of tests. After 10-12 hours of fasting, what greeted me was a nice warm bowl of tasty chicken porridge, which I much preferred than cold prepacked food, but this is personal preference. One observation - While waiting, noticed a nurse was patiently explaining a pre-checkup procedure to an unaccompanied elderly lady who seems to have issue comprehending the written steps. After going through my own tests and back to the waiting area 15 min later, now two not one, nurses are still explaining patiently to her. I sometimes forget how demanding customer facing profession are and more often under appreciated. Hence, a big shout out to - Denise who made my appointment and actual day process smooth, - Dr Chua who was very gentle performing tests and patiently answered many questions, - Julie who made ultrasound and mammogram seems almost fun, - the young nurse who kept asking if I was okay as she drew my blood and another nurse who jokingly said she is putting me in a ‘fridge’ for audio test. Last but not least the rest of the nurses and another radiologist (sorry I didn’t managed to get all your names). The whole team worked hard together and made the screening much less unnerving. Thank you very much. I appreciate you. :)

The nurses are always friendly and we have been seeing Dr Appan since my first son was bor n 8 years back. Dr Appan is very experienced and thorough, she is willing to listen, open minded and won't judge, she shares her opinion honestly. She is a gem!

This is my second time & would recommend this place for Health screening test. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. They make the experience very positive! The infrastructure is also very good and has good ambience! Last but not the least light bfast with Tea/coffee is served after the tests! Just shows they care a lot!!

Service is pretty upsetting. I was told to receive a call back twice to confirm my appointment for the next day but to no response and I had to call them back instead. Went to do some research and saw some negative remarks on Google Reviews as well. That really explains and justifies how inefficient the service is. (Side note) Went to call another specialist centre to book an appointment instead and everything was smooth-sailing. Please improve your service StarMed...

My company sent me here for a medical check-up. I was assisted by Faizah who helped me overcome my fear in needles. :) Overall, the experience was fantastic. They have friendly and professional staff, clinic is accessible via public transport, the interior of the clinic is a plus factor and they also provide refreshments to patients. Will definitely recommend to friends. Kudos to everyone!

Went here for an ultrasound at the radiology centre the staff are professional and efficient. The one performed my US was Ms. Julie shes amazing, very accommodating and friendly makes you feel at ease if you dont like clinics / hospitals! She has a bright and happy demeanour. Hope more people are like her!
